This review is based on my ten dine-in visits:
The restaurant offers dine-in and takeout along with all-you-can-eat and a la carte options. All-you-can-eat lunch is $24.99 until 3pm, and $32.99 from 3pm until close. All-you-can-eat includes just about everything on the menu, including all appetizers, all rolls, nigiri sushi, and dessert options. There are some exclusions, like sashimi, beverages, etc. Maki is priced at about $8.50 per order (6 pieces), and specialty rolls are priced at about $15.00 per order (8 pieces). For me, in order to get the most out of the all-you-can-eat price, I need to order a bit more than I normally would be comfortable with. In other words, while the all-you-can-eat is enticing, I can usually save money every time with one specialty roll and one regular roll and leave satisfied.
The quality of the fish is pretty standard and on par with most all-you-can-eat sushi spots. While you can most certainly get better tasting sushi for a higher price point at other restaurants, Domo has some of the better quality fish I've tried from all-you-can-eat spots. When I do order the all-you-can-eat, I tend to max out my value with the single piece nigiri, which is normally about $3.50 per piece when ordering a la carte. While the quality of the fish is good, I can agree with other reviews that their fish-to-rice ratio is a little off. Another thing I'm not impressed with is their specialty rolls. A lot of them seem to be rearrangements of the same select ingredients presented in different ways. There are even two rolls, Dragon and Green Dragon, which the menu shows contain the exact same ingredients. While there are some choice exceptions, you'll find that you'll be presented with most of the same ingredients in the majority of specialty rolls you order.
Staff is always very friendly and welcoming, and it seems that I'm always greeted and seated by the owner. There were only maybe one or two instances where we didn't receive something like an appetizer, mistakenly received too many pieces of one kind of sushi and not enough of another, or received something like a hot sake instead of a cold sake. These are all very minor issues and are negligible when ordering all-you-can-eat. The other 99% of the time, service is fantastic and without issues.
The vibe of the restaurant is decent. Booths are comfortable and the decor is pleasant. A couple things dislike are the televisions and the music. There are about 8-10 TVs all throughout the dining area. Most or all of these TVs are showing 8-hour-long looped videos from YouTube of "generic sushi restaurant", or "preparing bubble tea", or "how to filet a salmon". If you pay attention, you'll see the same few scenes a dozen or so times during your visit.
Overall, it's a great spot to get your sushi fix. Food is decent, wait staff is fantastic. I'll continue to come back for the food and service combined with the fact that it's very...

Read moreI was honestly surprised with the service here, I’ve read so many good reviews so I decided to give them a try. First off, the food was amazingly sightful but the service was absolutely horrible. I came into this place excited and left out very disappointed. We got a table for two and ordered at the same time, my food came out ten minutes after I ordered and the person I came with waited almost a hour and a half for his food. The waiter didn’t even think to come and update us or to just be polite enough to say sorry for the extremely long wait. By the time his food came mine was already cold and dried up I didn’t even want it anymore. We came to have dinner together not one person finish their dinner and wait and watch the other person eat a hour and a half later. No one came to apologize, no one came to check on us I had to get the attention of the waiter, & no one asked to reheat my food. Mind you all he ordered was two 8 pieces of sushi from the buffet menu in which he didn’t get to enjoy because our appetites were ruined from the lack of care for their customers. After all was said and done the waiter had the nerve to say the buffet food couldn’t be shared amongst us two lol. This was a terrible experience and I will never return. Pls don’t ever...
