Los Burritos Mexicanos — Restaurant in St. Charles

We were regulars at this restaurant and this time the waitress was very rude from the moment she came to our table we ordered breakfast and one my plate arrived I tried it and the green sauce was way to spicy so my husband said change it to the red sauce I only had one spoonful , to even change the plate the waitress was not accommodating at all , when it was time for our bill they charged us for the plate that I didn’t even touch and I ask if he was the owner he said yes , and his answer was you asked for it now you pay, I never ever had an experience were customer service was so rude and obnoxious and this place the customer is not right the owner thinks that having no customer service skills is ok, compared to other Mexican restaurants in St. Charles and Geneva by far this restaurant needs to be trained in people’s skills starting from there owner , which he said he was the owner, very surprised and disgusted on the treatment we had...

My brother and I order extra steak every time we go out to a burrito place because we visit the house of gains daily. Arandas Jalisco Tacos, Sergio's Cantina, The Jalapeno Grill and even Chipotle deliver our protien needs every time and then some but this place fails us every time. They charge an extra $3+/- for extra steak in a burrito that LOOKS stuffed with nutrients but every time we dig in we're greeted with an astronomical level of lettuce filler... Ya'll used to be a legitimate establishment but you corner cutting has lost our business along with a few of our fellow local gym go'ers.

Their creamy verde hot sauce isn't even enough to get us back in there! Their food and atmosphere is on par with a 5 star taco truck so if you want quick late night bite then stop in. If you want to treat your body and wallet right then go to one of the above local joints...

I’ve ate here two times and both times I was greeted kindly and sat down. Within less than 3 minutes my order was ready. The service is exceptional. The food is inexpensive. The owners are extremely polite and care about their customers. Let’s talk about the food. I ordered a Giant Steak burrito dinner with no sour cream both times. It comes with three different sauces you can use when you dine in. The dark red is your very hot sauce, the dark green is a mild hot sauce, and the light green is likely an avocado and sweet sauce. The food is impeccable. For the price you are paying, you get chips and salsa for free while you eat in. The salsa is a soupy texture and has onions and cilantro and is absolutely delicious.
