Valley Sweets — Restaurant in St. Croix Falls

I've tried some of the wonderful ice cream here in the past but I've wanted to try out the lunch specials at Valley Sweets since I started seeing them advertised on Facebook. I visited on 5/20/2019 And had the Italian Pasta Salad which was the lunch special that day for $8.25 plus tax. The atmosphere of this store hit me with a feel-good nostalgic vibe the moment I walked through. The employees were super nice, and they don't skimp-out on the portion sizes. They openly let me try the ice cream until I found my pick, and there was plenty to choose from! They had vegan sorbet, gluten free, dairy free and nut free options all made with whole, good ingredients. I won't hesitate to say it was the best sorbet...

Delicious ice cream, welcoming place. The young girl that was helping with the ice cream didn’t seem to understand how serious a nut allergy is when asked to please use clean, non-contaminated scoops and things of that nature, we know the risks but most ice cream places have a way to go about things like that where here, she didn’t seem to know what to do or understand the severity of it.
