When I went into order the man at the cashier was yelling at this lady in front of me. They were arguing about being charged to much on a credit card. Then he started to cuss to her. Made it extremely uncomfortable but it didnt seem to bother that man. So I waited 15mins to order then he took the next guy who walked in after me. I'm like really!? I was hungry and frustrated so I ordered. I ordered 1order egg roll, 1 order crab rangoon, whole order of special B rice(chicken, shrimp, and beef) and 1 soda. Totalling $19 & some change. I waited 10mins for food and took it home 2 mins away. I shall tell you stay away from the beef. Awful taste. I picked it out of my rice. Plus the full order size seemed like a small. Wondered if I was cheated? The same with the egg rolls. Terrible flavor. I couldnt eat them at all. So I threw those away. A waste of $3.65. The crab rangoon were great and the rest of rice was good. My bottled soda was flat and tasted like it had sat for months. Will I return?? Maybe. Only for chicken fried rice with shrimp..I'm kinda scared to try...
Read moreI gave them a 5 star for the food, but the phone customer service from one of the cooks was rude. I was able to place an order on the phone, but when I asked how much is it so that I would bring enough money, he got angry and told me that he does not give prices on the phone. Moreover, he told me I had to order in the restaurant, pay for the food, and then he will cook it and then he hung up the phone. When I called back to get an understanding of what just happened, the person accused me of asking over and over how much and that was not true; I only asked him once, and he refused to honor my order on the phone. I only continued with buying food from them because I promised my co-worker I would treat her to lunch from A-1 Wok because she likes their chinese food and it was her birthday. They are also more expensive than other chinese restaurants whose food is just as good if not...
Read moreThey charge extra for everything- a dollar upcharge to sub an egg roll for crab rangoon on combination plates, and ten cents for a packet of sweet and sour sauce. I didn't dare ask for plastic ware bc it's probably a dollar 😂 They're already overpriced compared to every other Chinese place in the area so they shouldn't try to scrape every penny they can out of people! Take out only. Long Wait, however I came at dinner time on Sat evening. Food portions were decent, however, everything was plain i.e. no onion, carrots , pineapple,or green peppers in the sweet & sour chicken entree or onion in the fried rice. Everything was cooked perfectly but it was below average because it was plain. I would recommend taking the short trip up to the Chinese restaurant on Grand next to the Subway. Much better...
