Calling all breakfast lovers! Cafe Miami is a one of a kind spot sitting in the heart of Soulard. This was my second time dropping in and a third stop is in the near future. Outside lies a charming New York inspired sandwich shop with plenty of street parking. Right when you walk in you can feel the sunny Florida sea side vibes. From Cuban music playing to ocean decor, even personal deep sea fishing pictures scattered on the walls in no particular fashion. Every bit of it shows the passion the owner has towards his shop. If it's your first time you can't go wrong with the Everything Breakfast bagel. This go around though I opted for the Chopped Cheese, a New York city classic. Regardless of what you get you won't be disappointed, just plan on making more than one trip to try everything they have to offer. Also be sure to try some of their unique coffee too. The Espumita is delightful on ice and the Cafè Con Leche is good hot. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is inviting so I choose to eat there opposed to taking it to go. Sit by the window, bring a book or catch up on work, watch the foot traffic and morning deliveries pass by. I guarantee you will leave in a better mood than you came in with.

THRILLED to have found this place. Met a friend for lunch and coffee. I had the breakfast chopped cheese, a guava pastelito, and the cafe con leche. The coffee is STRONG but sweet, just perfect. Loved the sandwich and pastry, too. Their interior is just gorgeous. They were packed when we got there, about noon, but had cleared out of all but us when we left at 2, which is when they close. They have a giant pitcher of ice water they keep filled, which is so nice for "heavy drinkers" like myself. Comfy tables, neat decor. Loved everything about it.

Had a delicious breakfast chopped cheese sandwich. My husband loved the Cuban sandwich. Our coladas and cafe con leches were superb. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful in explaining what a colada was, how a cafe con leche was different from a latte, and more. Love the atmosphere. A great place to visit if you love Cuban food, coffee, and even if you don’t! There is something for everyone.

Our family (including two middle school aged kids) absolutely loved this place. We were searching for a good local place before heading back home from vacation. I’ve traveled several times to south Florida for work and have had my share of good Cuban food. This place was just as good as any Cuban spot I’ve tried.

I recommend the cafe con leche - their version includes a really good sugar mixed into the espresso. We loved all of our sandwiches, including the Ropa Vieja and Frita Cubana. The kids said it was one of the best breakfasts they’ve had!

The staff was super friendly and accommodating as well. If you live in or are traveling through St. Louis, make sure you...
