This is a large-sized shaved ice combo ($16.97) that comes with four flavored sides around the shaved ice, including mango, taro, boba, red bean, and pudding at the bottom. I ordered this by showing the storekeeper a photo posted on a Google Maps review. He said it only comes in large, and at the time, I didn’t realize how big it was. I recently moved to the CWE area, and this tea shop is within my apartment. When I came here one evening, it was a crowded night, and I put in my order only to find out there was a very long wait. I ordered a Brown Sugar Latte (the taste was lacking, but the tapioca was cooked perfectly), and I got the red bean cake (tasty). Overall, my experience at this place was alright. I’ve grown up drinking boba my whole life and go to Taiwan at least once a year, the home of 珍珠奶茶. Safe to say I’ve tried boba from quite literally hundreds of shops at this point. Bubble cup along with cube tea and Feng Cha are currently the best boba shops in the stl area. Good tea flavor and the boba is cooked correctly and is “Q” meaning it has the correct chewy texture.
