I went to the Chase Park Plaza movie theater on 7/28/23 to see Barbie. I parked in the parking garage attached to the hotel/movie theater because it seemed safer and online it said that the movie theater validates parking. I met some friends for dinner at The Preston (restaurant inside the Chase) and we also had a drink at the Chase Club before the movie. Before the movie started I went to the concession counter to get a validation slip for parking. When I went to leave the garage after the movie, the validation slip did not work. It gave me an error saying something about "invalid ticket" and "exceeded maximum use". I'd never used this slip of paper before, as I'd just received it from the concession counter a couple of hours previously. I ended up having to pay a whopping $37 to exit the parking garage. That is absolutely ridiculous. The movie ticket itself was $12, so parking was 3x the cost of the ticket. Plus I'd already gone to the restaurant and the bar so I gave plenty of my money to the establishment we were visiting. I reached out to the movie theater requesting a refund since their validation slip did not work but I still have not heard back. I'm very disappointed in the lack of customer service and the fact that they are advertising parking validation when that clearly is not true. A friend who parked in the same garage that night experienced the same problem with the validation slip and has also been unable to reach someone to...

#Exactly #GoogleReviewer, #RichardWright❗️Nothing has changed since you attended this movie theater 3 months ago. I thought it would be a good idea to watch the movie #TILL at a movie theater located in a building that was around during the time #EmmettTill was #Lynched. #BadDecision 🙄 Some thing remain the same...

There were approximately 7 workers behind the concession stand! #TristanR allowed this bad customer experience to take place. It appears he's only concerned about making money. He was #Arrogant, #Rude and extremely #Disrespectful❗️

Tristan made sure we knew that he was in charge and didn't give a care about how customers felt. He claimed to be the #Manager of the #ChaseParkPlazaMovieTheater in #StLouis, #Missouri. He lied on a customer and said they jumped the line when they didn't. He also ignored #MovieGoers trying to understand why we had to #Purchase #Tickets at the #ConcessionStand. Individuals that purchased tickets in advance were also made to wait in the same long line to be checked in. This caused us to be late for the start of our movies! The #ClimateAndCulture of this movie theater was #Toxic.🤮 I got a refund and will take my business elsewhere.

People will do what we allow them to do. If they don't respect me, they're not worth my money or time. 🗣#SpeakUpAndOut...

This place is weird. If you like "cozy" theaters — meaning tiny ones with less than 50 seats and a pretty small screen — then this place is fine for intimate viewings. If you're looking to see the latest blockbuster in all it's 60-foot glory, than this is not the place to go. The screen quality is fine, it's just really small. Seats are modern and fine. Not super-luxury, but fine.

Next weirdness: If you enter from Lindell Blvd — and the large marquee above the doors gives you the impression this is the main entrance — the theater is nowhere to be found in the empty lobby you'll find yourself in(!). It's actually down a series of narrow corridors, off to the left, basically in another part of the hotel (closer to Kingshighway).

Third weirdness: You purchase your tickets from the food concessions counter. Don't be mystified by the (closed) ticket window in that abandoned lobby you first entered.

The good: I like this place because it's relatively near me and I can go to a late show with only a handful of people in the theater with me (or none at all), thus lessening the chance of run-ins with rude,...

4 1/2 🌟 due to no organ music, no daiquiri, margarita or bloody mary's & could any staff tell me when their would be 😏 The popcorn 🍿 was very delicious and the cherry 🍒 coke crisp. Although the seat backs are stationary but they do have cupholders, for a few hours they are more than adequate. Love the stadium seating and being able to choose my seat in the theater. The staff was over all courteous, the cinema very clean and prices reasonable. I liked the fact some of the parents let there little kids dress up as Spider-Man, 99% of the movie goers here are very polite and easy going. Unfortunately, upon exiting there was a "Karen" in the lobby who took it upon herself to chastise someone for not wearing a "proper mask", so I chastised "The Karen" for not social distancing 6 feet apart and ignored her mumbled response as I walked out the door. Overall an awesome experience. To all the "Karen" types, this is bullying and inappropriate behavior. Honestly, if you're so afraid of catching Covid, JUST STAY HOME!

First movie experience in Saint Louis, and after a while, courtesy covid. We loved it. Me and my wife got early bird tickets, $5 (+ $1 convenience) for the new Poirot movie. The plaza itself is interesting and has a retro vibe. Screens are big, sound is great, movie was amazing. So, $12 tickets + $6 popcorn + plus located in Central West end, where we live, will make us go back for sure. I plan to take my full family sometime, buy wine by the bottle and see a movie 😁. An update: watched our second movie. It's right before Christmas week, it was great to see the hotel lobby all decked up.

This was Saturday date night. My wife and I went to the Chase theater to see Tom Hanks in A beautiful day in the neighborhood. We purchase tickets on line. Parked accross the street. For five bucks (not terrible). But if you park in the garage. They validate for three hours at the concession stand. They have beer and mixed drinks too.. Movie was good. An insight to Fred Rodgers thinking and how others around him perceived and accepted him. The picture shown was when we walked out toward the lobby of the hotel.A gingerbread St. Louis Christmas is in the air.
