A true and authentic dive bar. Very hospitable bartender. Amazingly cheap prices ($3 32oz Miller high life, $3 mixed drinks, etc). There is a surprisingly large craft brew menu (see pics). Strong pours. There is love music sometimes. A mixed crowd of younger an older patrons. There are bar games available, including shuffleboard and darts. There is a large outdoor patio. This is a bar worth going to, even if it's out of your way. There is an ATM on site, which is important because it's a cash only bar.

This is true to the rep. A real dive but only in that It has pinball, darts, a tiny bathroom, Long Island Iced Tea and the most pleasant "Nick Fury" I've ever met. That's not the "Tea" talking. You will meet an intriguing class of folk from lawyers and artists to truck drivers and wait staff all mingling without class ever being an actual factor.

Diviest of dive bars. Great crowd. How do they do it?... the perfect amount of grungy without slipping into disgusting. It's a good kind of dirty. Even the tables out front are dirty and warped, as I am sure are the majority of its patrons.

Very unfriendly. Said thank you as I made my way to my car past a worker that was smoking outside of the establishment, didn't even say you're welcome. The clientele seems to be of the same sort of temperament. I was dressed differently than the 'uniforms' of all the customers and staff so, it's safe to say they are not very accepting of outsiders that are not cookie cutter whatever group they are. I was nothing but friendly to everyone in there. Friendly, courteous, kind, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent. Not returned though. Had to have been because I wasn't in 'proper attire'. Remember the clothes don't make the man people. But to this society, the...

Great place to hang out. Back patio usually has a fire going in colder weather. Matt the bar tender is just an all round great guy and makes you feel welcome. The place can get packed when performing shows, but that's understandable and expected. If you've never been. You must get a sandinista shot! Changed my life. If you want a low lit place to hang out and appreciate graffiti scribbles. This is the place to go. They do not serve Anheuser Busch products. But the selection makes up for...
