Grew up with Cecil's and it's always been my favorite place for pizza. I'm sure the staff works very hard, and they're nice people. Please go for this place if you're in South City and want pizza delivery; teir pizza flavor, no matter the toppings, is still my personal favorite. I'll say this about my 3 star rating: the price of the food now is way too high for the style of food this place provides, and the dine in experience I had wasn't great. I dined in with my partner and between the two of us our bill was a little over $50; we ordered a personal pepperoni pizza, a salad, one drink and an order of fried pickle chips. At the time, the place seemed understaffed, we had to seat ourselves, we didn't get refills on our drink, and the restaurant was honestly pretty dirty and had to approach the front counter and wait to receive and pay for our check. I understand that food prices are rising, but we dined in at a restaurant inthe Hill a week later for way better atmosphere, higher quality food, and enough staff to actually wait on us to get us refills and check on us for the same price. I'm sorry to the staff, and I'll still come back, but the Saint Charles locations seem to be in better shape and I'll still use this location for takeout or when their...
Read moreMy Partner, his daughter and I got take out from Cecil Whittaker's last Friday evening. We made it a movie night and watched scary halloween 🎃 movies. We had coupons and got the family special which included: 2 pizzas, side salad and an appetizer for $33. It was a great special. I got the salad for me, we shared pizzas then got the trashed wings for the appetizer which was $1 extra. Everything was great. We picked it up and carried the food home as we were already out. None of us had complaints about the food. Now the movie was a different story y'all. This was a great location for us to travel to and was safe as well. This location is wheelchair accessible with inside tables for dining. If you make it a movie night think about adding Cecil Whittaker's to your menu.

Read morePaid for my order online. When I arrived to pick up my food, the front door was locked. I saw someone in the back, and I know they saw me. I banged on the door and windows for 20 minutes. I then called to which nobody answered but I could still see this person in the kitchen. The open sign was on, as well as all the lights. I went around back and banged on the door. Then, a gentleman (delivery driver) pulled up. I told him the situation, and he said the managers were fighting. He unlocked the front door and gave me my food. After I had worked 12 hours, the staff told me they were short staff. I said everyone is, but you don't lock the door so you can fight. Driver was the only 1 to apologize. Managers didn't say 1 damn word. It'll be a while before I go...
