Brunch Spots in St. Louis – The Crowd-Favorite Eatery

Grant, the owner and chef, seriously has figured out some real magic here. I got the popcorn chicken, fries, and caramelized brussel sprouts with buffalo and ranch. EVERYTHING was so good!! I don't know the secret, but the chicken was perfectly tender, but had the perfect crispy crunchy outside. Chicken came with pickles that were definitely made in house and so yummy. The buffalo and ranch are also clearly made in house and they're amazing!! His take on the buffalo sauce is REALLY unique - it's got the typical hot sauce vibe you'd expect but there's a sweet and complex twist to it that makes it stand out AND keeps you wanting more! The ranch is nice and thick and definitely does not have any of that hidden valley. There were definitely some complex umami magic happening with the brussel sprouts too. I normally don't like them, but they looked so good in pictures and reviews I had to give them a shot and I'm glad I did!!

I visited this restaurant while passing through town on my way back to Chicago. It had a high rating on Google, so I had to check it out. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed. I placed a phone order and the staff quickly made sure my food would be warm upon arrival. They asked how far I was and I said about 30 minutes, to which they responded, "Perfect. We'll start preparing your food now and make sure it's ready when you arrive, nice and warm." I ordered the popcorn chicken, caramelized brussels sprouts, and roasted cauliflower. All three dishes were amazing and exceeded my expectations. The owner Grant was nice enough to ensure I was completely satisfied with the takeout order before I left. That included me doing a taste test before leaving. I highly recommend this restaurant and the bar next door is also a nice place to visit.

This is a St. Louis local hidden gem! We sought it out for a foodie trip and it did not disappoint. We tried a bit of everything except the tofu, and everything on the menu is truly perfectly made. The popcorn chicken is crispy on the outside and falling apart, savory on the inside. We loved it with the BBQ and sweetchili sauce, but all of the sauces are homemade and delicious. The fire roasted cauliflower and caramelized brussel sprouts are a great balance to the dish, each packed with flavor, and the hand-cut fries will make you want to keep snacking. But make sure to save space for dessert too, because the ice cream sandwich bars are all wildly creative and so good!

I cannot say enough great things about this place, but if I could add one more, the staff are super great people. They were so friendly and helpful to tourists. When we mentioned we were from out of town and we're visiting to try their food, they were so excited to have us, we felt like their personal guests. They were so kind and attentive!

If you're in St. Louis, this is a must-stop for anyone. The prices are good, the food is excellent, the staff are amazing, and the whole venue is really cool. It looks like they have live music, though we came too early in the day for that. Definitely check out this local restaurant! Cannot...

EAT DUCKBILL is a must stop and shop at the Grove! Stumbled on this place by accident and will only be back deliberately from now on. The menu is simple, every option leaves the TASTE of QUALITY in your mouth. The service was phenomenal which led so many patrons through the door and to the menu. As the night closed in I had the privilege to meet the man behind the plan, Grant, this gentleman walked us through his thoughts behind the simple 5 punch combination. It was not hard to see nor feel the passion in the kitchen but more importantly the relationship between chef and consumer. This gap was effortlessly filled by a well spoken and genuine host by the name of Brent whom made sure everything was served to perfection and that feedback was heard. Thank you “Eat Duckbill “ for giving the night life at the Grove something it was missing GREAT GOURMET FAST FOOD….. This is definitely the Show Me State quality that should be at...
