Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - “A hidden gem cafe in St. Louis, going above and beyond for their patrons”

Service 🙋‍♂️

The service at Goshen Coffee Roasters was exceptional, thanks to the lovely baristas, Violet and Mary (or Molly—apologies for forgetting!). I have very specific coffee preferences, and they went out of their way to make sure my requests were met without making me feel like a bother. My coffee needs to be piping hot, and they warmed the mug just for me. It’s the little things that elevate the experience, and these baristas absolutely nailed it. Their friendly, attentive service truly brightened my morning. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Decor 🎨

Goshen Coffee Roasters is a visual delight with a charming location in St. Louis. There’s a cozy outdoor seating area at the front, a spacious patio in the back, and an upstairs space that offers plenty of room for groups of any size. The cafe’s aesthetic is modern and fresh, with vibrant neon signs, St. Louis-themed wall art, and beautiful exposed brick walls. Whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee or spending a few hours working, the decor makes you feel right at home. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Food 🍽️

I ordered an almond-milk latte, and despite the challenge of making latte art with almond milk, Violet crafted a beautiful leaf design. The latte itself was smooth, delicious, and exactly what I needed to kickstart the day. We also tried the coffee cake, which my girlfriend loved, though I found it a touch dry—perfect for dipping into my coffee. Overall, the drinks and treats were delightful, solidifying Goshen Coffee Roasters as my top cafe in Soulard and easily in my top three in all of St. Louis. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

In Retrospect 🤔

Reflecting on my visit, Goshen Coffee Roasters offers a fantastic coffee experience. From the excellent service to the inviting decor and tasty offerings, this cafe has it all. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s a must-visit spot in St. Louis that goes above and beyond to make every customer feel valued.

Final Verdict: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 - “Great” Catchy One-Liner: “Goshen Coffee Roasters: Where exceptional service and delicious lattes meet stylish decor in the heart...

Gotta Love An Unexpected Surprise ☕️ While delivering Amazon orders, I was craving a got cup of coffee. No sooner than that I look up and see Goshen! I walked into a small but cozy little spot giving big coffee house vibes. I could quickly tell it was a neighborhood favorite.

A young woman pleasantly greeted me and I asked for my most favorite coffee drink, 16oz mocha latte hot with oat milk, extra shot. She informed me that it came with 2 shots already and my extra shot would make it 4 total. I pumped my brakes at 2. While she started on my drink I took a gander at the baked goods in the case. Scones.

The scone that caught my attention in particular was the honey jalapeño cheddar scone. You know I asked about them. She tried to play them down but I could see the steam bellowing up from the flakey pastry. She told me they were warm… SOLD!

My mocha latte was definitely one of the best I’ve had in a while. Full, rich, and chocolatey. And those 2 shots weren’t playing. And the scone… that was a MEAL! Every bite was even more savory than the last. You can immediately taste the honey, followed by a gentle jalapeño hug. It’s airy, slightly cheesy…...

I spent the perfect 4th of July morning catching up with a friend at Goshen Coffee in Soulard, and I’m officially a fan. We sat on the shaded patio for hours—birds swinging by our table, church bells chiming in the background, and not a single reason to rush.

I ordered the Kickin’ Goat Cheese Whip Toast (perfectly balanced, creamy with a kick, and super satisfying) and the Cherry Ginger Espresso Tonic, which was bubbly, bright, and ridiculously refreshing. It was the exact right combo for a summer morning that called for conversation and caffeine.

Inside is cozy with great vibes and a curated little retail section that’s hard to resist. Staff was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and everything felt intentional in the best way.

Whether you’re looking for a new favorite breakfast spot, a peaceful place to work, or a patio to post up and enjoy the moment—this one’s worth the trip.

My husband and I visited this coffee shop one day to try them out, and as far as our visit goes, they definitely live up the good things we’ve heard about them. The coffees were very good, you can tell they use high quality ingredients and not the bad tasting Torani syrups that so many shops use. A lot of times ordering a specialty flavored latte will taste like warmed up cereal milk! Not so with this place. My companion and I were very impressed with both of the lattes we tried, and would definitely consider revisiting in the future if we are in the area. We also ordered the burritos, and was very satisfied with the taste, however the portion sizes were a little small for the price. Apart from this, we considered this a 10/10, would eat again experience. The service was friendly, food and coffee good, they have a TON of seating, and the atmosphere was very cool and good for studying or socializing. Would recommend!
