My wife and I stopped here with our dog, and simply loved it! There's an entrance by the back for people who have their dogs with them. It takes you straight to their amazing patio out back. Nick and Jessica were taking care of us, but we also got to meet the new owner, John. He was very friendly, helpful, and proud (and for good reason). He, his wife, and sister have really cleaned up and redecorated the place, with much more to come. The ambiance, staff, service, drink selection, and food were all amazing. We shared the crispy cheese curds, chopped salad, and fish + chips. Of the three, the salad was the best, but they were all really fantastic and freshly prepared.

Seen people from age 21-40, all drinking ages seemed very welcomed in this establishment. Great food and I mean grizzly great, pulled pork sandwich was off the chain, had some potato skins with bbq too. Excellent service, beers are reasonably priced, and they do live music. Outside patio has a firepit and they allow smoking out there in a fenced in area with a big screen(projector) rather than out front on the sidewalk. Here's some pictures of The Nokturnal performance.

I came here last night, and it has a dive bar vibe. Several people were sitting in the bar area and getting their night started early. Meanwhile, I only stopped by for a drink and saw this online through my quick search. The bar has good drinks, and they're affordable (for once)! My dog was with me, so I sat outside in their patio area. It was spacious, too. I would come here again with my friends for a chill, dive bar feel.

Yikes, I wanted to be able to come here and show them off for St. Louis Burger Week. I’m really not one to leave a bad review on a local business, but what a night. Went here at 645, we were told by the server it would be a 30 minute wait. As to be expected from a busy week night during burger week. We said good to go, ordered a drink and waited at our table. 30 minutes went by and they said they ran out of burgers, brat burgers and fish. Bummed out, we said okay let’s make a decision on something else. We looked down at the menu and the server went to another table. She never came back until about 750 when she dropped off an order for another table, and I tried to get her attention, but she was off. One of the owners dropped off some waters at the other table (he announced to the table he was a part owner) and I asked if we could put in our order, he said he would check and be right back. He never came back to our table, but walked around drinking a drink and speaking to other tables. Now, 815, we dropped cash to cover our drinks and a tip to the server (not entirely her fault, understaffed as all restaurants are I assume), but why would the owner not be assisting more and the delayed time frames of an hour and a half from when we were sat and no food was such a disappointment. I’m sorry to say I won’t be dining here...

Wow this place went downhill quickly! I was super excited to see new ownership take over what I called a hidden gem, in soulard. That lasted a SHORT while. Now it's more of the same. When they opened they had good crop of bartenders and a great patio. The staff seemed competent and friendly. The kitchen while not great still had some decent options and ultimately I wasnt there for food but just thought I'd mention. There seemed to be a big staff changeover in the last 6-9-ish months, and I have seen new faces every time I've gone back. I dont plan on going back. There is a Male behind the bar, that is INSANELY rude not to mention, it seems theve hired people who have never been to a bar let alone worked a bar. The bartenders I had at the beginning were great. There were two I specifically remember, both were dark haired with tattoos, seemed one was always inside and one outside they were great company and I never lacked a cold drink. I'm not sure what happened to them but whoever is in charge of staffing seems to be as incompetent as the people that they've currently put behind the bars. Super disappointed to watch this bar go...
