This is a JJ location we went to every time we go to forest park. Which during the colder months several times but during the summer at least biweekly sometimes weekly. The minimum we spend in the store is 50$ a pop with all of our family members meals. However, I will never return to this location again. I went in and my 3 kids and I went to the bathroom before ordering. I was the last person to use the restroom. The kids went and picked out their chips and a table. Then as I am walking from the bathroom to the front to order they asked if they could open their chips which I told them was fine. There was nobody in line and I arrived at the counter 5 seconds later where I was met by Mike from IT with the most unnecessary attitude. Even though as he said he “doesn’t work there” took it upon himself to in the rudest way inform me the kids should not open their chips prior to paying. I told him he doesn’t have to have such a nasty attitude and told him I’m here to order and if he thought I wasn’t going to pay. He said (again with the worst kind of tone as if I took his wallet) you shouldn’t open them without paying and again told him his attitude is unnecessary. And he told me he would rather us leave. I asked without paying? He replies “yes I’d rather you leave without paying”. Funny how it was such an issue to open them prior to paying but he chose for us to leave without paying for them at all. A little backwards. The manager was there and said Mike was above him since he was in IT to which I replied I’m sorry you have to work under people like that. If you feel a certain way about my kids opening their chips prior to paying, fine, I can see it and had he been an emotionally stable person and able to say something without that kind of nastiness, great. It’s not about what you say to people mostly but how you say it and that was said as if I kicked his dog. Unacceptable. I’m not sure what sort of power trip he’s on or why he has such an enormous chip on his shoulder to take it upon himself to address customers when “he doesn’t work here” in such a way. I won’t be returning to this location and I will also be reaching out to corporate. It’s good he’s in IT and not the face of the company, however, having someone so emotionally unstable is a threat to the customers, employees and the overall atmosphere and doesn’t have a place around anyone in...
Read moreMade an order online for lunch while at work (can't leave) for delivery. Tracked my order online and waited about 40mins for my food after online updated to out for delivery. I called to store to make sure there wasn't an issue with my address or order itself and this is where things just went downhill.
The first girl I spoke to couldn't care less what I was saying. I had to repeat my name 4-5 times because she kept having side conversations and would respond "I'm sorry what is it again? How can I help you" after I already explained. I told her I just wanted to make sure my order was out for delivery and if the driver was having issues with the address. She said she doesn't know but thinks my order should be out and wasn't very helpful after.
Another 15 minutes go by and I noticed on the tracker is says delivered but I don't have my food. Called the store back and spoke with a man who was very annoyed and kept huffing the whole time. I told him the situation and after putting me on hold he informed me my order "tapped out" and the driver forgot it. He stated that they will now deliver my item and it will be with me in about 5 minutes.
My food arrived 5 minutes later as he stated but they forgot part of my order. At this point I'm annoyed because my lunch is over and I've waited over an hour for my food because it was forgotten. I called the store and spoke with the same man to inform that part of my order was missing and he just huffed and puffed without saying any thing at first. Then he offered to put the credit on my account but I didn't want that, I want all of the food I ordered and paid for.
Currently waiting on the delivery driver to drop off the other half of my order but this still feels like it was a waste of my money. Never had a bad experience with Jimmy Johns but I can tell the quality of this location is going down which is disappointing. Probably won't be using this location again until they get...
Read moreNormally don't leave reviews however my experience today was ridiculous. I visited this located and placed my order with the cashier (Ayiana) who looked very uninterested with being there. After I placed my order and waited for the cashier to give me my cup and receipt for my food, who walked away while I was standing there, I took it upon myself to take both items. After reviewing my receipt I noticed that my order had been rang up wrong and went back down to the cashier who was now texting on the phone. I stated to her that my order had been rang up wrong and she responded by telling me I had taken the receipt and that was the only way they would know how to make my order (note...my order was already rang up wrong). I responded by stating that since she had walked away I went ahead and grabbed my receipt and cup since she didn't give it to me to being with which I stated that in the past I already received a receipt prior to getting my sandwich and workers has even asked if I'd like a receipt. I asked the cashier what her name was and she responded with "I don't know". I then asked to speak to the manager of site who I spoke with about the issue. She informed me that the receipt is given to the customer at the end of the line which I get however, in the past I had always been given the receipt up front. The manger verbally stated that I was lying and that I was "doing" her job since I "worked there". If this is the person you have in charge of running your business and managing your employees at this located I would highly re-think that. There was no apology and no concern. I later found out what the cashiers name was by looking on my receipt. Needless to say I will never come back to...
