Stopped in for a late dinner after a Cardinals game around 9:40 PM. We had to seek out the server to receive menus and be seated. Server informed us that only the appetizers section was available for food, and the kitchen would be closing soon - no problem.
I ordered the crisped pork belly. The description under the menu item reads: "Fried brussels sprouts, peach glaze peanuts". So what I received was a bowl of brussels sprouts and peanuts with skimpy little diced pieces of pork. Not what I was expecting, since the name of the menu item was crisped pork belly. I was expecting pork to be the feature, and the brussels sprouts and peanuts to compliment the pork, not the other way around. But the dish had good flavor, for what it was.
After we finished, we waited at our table for 20 minutes before I got up to find the server and tell him we're ready for our check. The only times our server came to our table were to seat us, to take our order, and bring out our order. He did not check in on us or come by to refill our waters. So service was poor.
I did not enjoy the atmosphere. There was a live musician singing acoustic guitar cover versions of popular music. His volume was up pretty loud which made it difficult to hear my friend two feet away sitting across from me at our small table.
I will not be returning here...

Food was pretty good, and plated well. But seemed extraordinarily expensive for what we got. We spend $70 (including 15% tip) on lunch for 2 which absolutely did not qualify as an elegant or high class dining experience. For that price, more than the flavor of the food matters.
Service was amateur at best. Nothing blatantly wrong, just very unsophisticated. The woman who seats tables was apparently the only one available to take our order. I've had more polish with a waiter at a Chinese takeaway. She didn't know the items on the menu, didn't know what to recommend, basically, didn't really know how to interact with a customer outside of writing down what they said. The soup came first, and the other appetizer (the flatbread) was brought out along with the entrees.
Will not return. Probably only acceptable if you're staying at the Hilton and find it convenient and can expense it. For the price, it was a disappointing...
Read moreThe Pennydrop bar is a very stunning environment to have a drink or dinner. We stopped by because it was on our list of places we hadn’t tried. We went in the middle of the week, so it was a little dead. It’s self seating in the bar area, and our server came to take our order right away to make sure we got the most out of happy hour.
We decided to get appetizers instead of entrees so I cant speak to the main dishes. The hummus tasted amazing and the serving size was enormous. Personally I think the fried pita was soggy with oil and really made it hard to eat the hummus, and left me feeling kind of rough. The wings had a very unique flavored sauce, the peach in my opinion didn’t come through, but it was tasty. The meat was a little tough and I think the glaze didn’t quite make up for how dry the meat was. We got 4 wings and 4 drums, so not the worst price for wings if you get the $2 off at the happy hour. Personally I would skip out on them if could go back. I will definitely be back to try the entrees and will update my review depending on...
