This doesn’t make me like Pickles any less (the food, or the restaurant) but the pickle on the side was my least favorite part of the meal. The first time I went I got a French dip sandwich with au jus sauce and a ski soda. The French dip was alright. My wife makes an incredible French dip and I have yet to find a place that makes one better than her. The ski soda was alright. I wouldn’t get it again.

Now let’s get to the real reason I’m giving this place 5/5. Their Reuben sandwich. I love Reuben sandwich’s and this place serves one of the best Reubens I’ve ever had. Top 3 for sure. The corned beef is amazing and moist and the sauerkraut has the perfect sweetness and tart flavor. The thousand island dressing wasn’t too much to make it mess but also not too little that you can’t taste it. It was amazing. The barbecue kettle chips are pretty good too. I believe it’s the owners (a husband and wife) they were very attentive and constantly working and checking in on people and cleaning tables.

We also didn’t notice until the end of our 2nd time there that they have upstairs seating as well. We didn’t check it out but if it looks busy be sure to double check if there is room to...

My family and I came here the day before Thanksgiving and got an early lunch before heading out to do some site seeing. The staff was friendly and engaging, patiently waiting and answering all our questions. One of the employees said their favorite sandwich was the Philly cheesesteak but recommended the French Dip since it was cold and the aus jus would feel exceptionally nice. I went with that and subbed the Swiss for provolone. The sandwich was incredible. It wasn't over the top or flashy. It was your basic French dip, but the simplicity was executed marvelously. Every bite was the best bite. My wife had the Mediterranean wrap which she enjoyed thoroughly, and my kids had a salad and basic turkey sandwich.

The building is older and the interior is more for sit down, eat and leave which is fine. It's a deli so I understand.

All in all, I'd definitely come back. Everything was a delight and enjoyable. The employees were friendly, happy, and professional. This is definitely a place to grab...

Omg absolutely loved the BLT, I got extra lettuce and tomato add mustard on sourdough bread. So good, the bacon is delicious. They have habanero chips which is fantastic since I love spicy. I ordered a hotdog as well. I’m too full to eat it after the BLT because it’s huge!! And the hotdog looks much better than the other hotdog place near by. Very impressed with this restaurant especially compared to Tom’s hotdogs and snarfs. If you want toppings they will give it to you without skimping. Definitely worth it. I’m taking my kid here next time.

Edit: I’ve eaten here several times now. They have messed up my order more than they have gotten it right. They falsely advertise that they still have habanero chips. They do not! Don’t order from Uber eats. It will be wrong almost every time. The tuna is gross as well....

Came in on a Monday morning to bring breakfast back to the hotel. Ordered the rise n shine Reuben & a sausage biscuit sandwich. It wasn’t busy, staff were friendly and very efficient. I was disappointed by the Reuben considering all the raving reviews. There was barely any meat on it and it was piled in the middle where the sandwich is cut. I understand its aesthetically pleasing but when I opened the sandwich there was no meat around all the sides of the bread so I had to spread it out which was very messy and not what I expected from a hearty sandwich. The biscuit sandwich was good, wished the biscuit was cooked longer so it didn’t fall apart as much. The sausage patty is also smaller (as seen in photo) so it’s missing on some of it. Overall I’d go back to try some lunch items
