I'm not the kind of person who always gives the highest stars/rating when doing reviews because there's ALWAYS room for improvement, and nothing is perfect. HOWEVER, my husband and I cannot brag enough on this hotel. He and I recently had a baecation there and we stayed for three nights. Everyone, absolutely EVERYONE that works there was so friendly. Even when we made our reservations, LaToya was super friendly and very informative. Everyone was genuinely concerned that each guest was happy, satisfied and all needs were met. We had a slight concern with something when we arrived to our room, and the staff went above and beyond to assure the matter was handled, fixed and to our satisfaction. Even as the days went on, we were always asked if things were good and if we were happy. The GM, Jeff, and manager, Cameron, were so generous and so caring. They always greeted us and were true definitions of what top quality guest/customer service is. The cleanliness of this hotel was impeccable. I consider myself as having a "third eye", and I notice everything. Even the vents were clean! It may sound like an odd thing to notice, but things like that say a lot. Let's talk about the breakfast food, and the food at the kickback. AMAZING. We thought that at best it would be some of those water based eggs, a few sausage links and a bagel. We thought the food at the kickback would be something like cheese squares, some fruit and maybe some meatballs. NOPE. Everything was fresh, tasteful, plentiful and a great variety of foods to choose from. There was something for everyone. Kids, vegans, meat lovers, etc. The staff serving the food were hard workers and no matter how overwhelming things may have gotten, they remained professional, smiled and made sure everyone was satisfied. The drinks at the kickback were wonderful too. We thought they would be watered down or cheap. NOPE. They were great. The bartender, I think Ms. Kim was her name, was the sweetest lady and so courteous to us all. There was free soda, water, juice all day and fresh popcorn during the kickback as well. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and is in the BEST location in downtown St. Louis. We were literally beside the arch and there's a balcony outside of the pool that guests can go to and relax. The view was awesome and was a very calming place to hang out. The parking garage is VERY safe as well. The only way into it is with a room key. We most certainly will be back to this establishment and pray that all other Drury Inns around the US are equally as great. Thank you to the staff at the Drury Plaza Hotel St. Louis Arch! You guys were great and we truly enjoyed our baecation!! We HIGHLY suggest this hotel to anyone to choose visiting the St....

Superior Save in a perfect locale. Our room on the 10th floor was terrific; view of the (now open!) not-to-be-missed Historical Court House below; enjoyed watching the sunrise reflecting off the glass walled building across the street. Near absolutely everything from Baseball Village, great rooftop diner @the Hilton a few blks. away. We ate bk’fast across the St. @ the diner inside the Westin Hotel for bk’fast however; bk’fast & most especially the service/wait staff at the restaurant @ the Drury was tops! I cannot recall the names just now of the restaurant @ the Westin & the Drury (they were similar though). We cannot wait to return. Our Best to You All. I reached out to management only once and found the person I spoke with to be a sincere listener and offered immediate clear answer to my inquiry. Walk to the Cathedral, the Arch, the paddleboat ride ( that female Capt provides absolutely the best narrative along the Mississippi that we’ve ever listened to!) The staff on the paddleboat were superior as well (all girl ship staff the day we were on board; handled lines, served drinks, etc) Did not use the pool or jacuzzi but we noticed as we passed through there going out to the superb patio area that there are times it’s slammed with loud n lively kids/adults but at other times you could have had the jacuzzi or pool all to yourselves. The laundry was a big plus (limited~just 2 washers & 2 dryers). The free parking was covered and secured big time! We stayed @ Live for wedding reception and frankly we totally preferred staying at the +++ more affordable Drury. The desk staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and always said Good Morning, Hello, Welcome! How do they keep that ‘Disney’ smile and attitude with all the chaos of registration times. There were as many as 4 lovely professionals behind that busy desk very patiently taking care of us; amazing how fast that line of Moms, Dads, kids & luggage were whittled down! Miracle Workers one n all at every interaction. Meals were hot and delicious. Bar attendants, cooks, kitchen staff, ALL worked like clockwork to provide everything needed @ mealtime throughout our 4 days. Thank You for this opportunity to express my gratitude for your dedication and service to your ‘tourist community’ passing through that gorgeous lobby...
Read moreLet me start by saying that I LOVE Drury Hotels. Wherever I go I always look to see if they have one before I consider any other hotel. That being said....I just stayed here from 8/9/2024 - 8/12/2024. It was myself and my 13 year old grandson and my husband. We had a king suite which has a king size bed in the bedroom and the living room has a pull out couch. The living room is a suite and includes a fridge, microwave, coffee pot, sink and small table and chairs. The bathroom mirror and sinks are seperate from the actual bathroom with the toilet and the shower.
Overall the stay was good. We enjoyed the room and the view of the city. The king bed was Sooooo comfortable. I don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel with such a comfortable bed. We had no issues with noise at all. The only complaint I would have regarding the room is that the toilet is so small and so low. I don't think I have ever seen a toilet so low to the ground. It is basically the size that a child and/or adolecent would use. It was very uncomfortable and hard to sit and stand due to how short it was.
All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The nightly kick back is one of many reasons I enjoy Drury Hotels and it did not dissappoint. The bartender on Saturday night was so pleasant and friendly.
Breakfast was decent. I have not stayed in a Drury for quite some time so I don't really remember previous Drury breakfasts. This breakfast consisted of tortillas, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs (kinda plain with no taste), small potatoes, sausage patties, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, toast, english muffins, oatmeal, fruit, make your own fresh belgium waffles and all kinds of toppings and condiments. Very impressive overall. My only complaint is that the breakfast does not change at all. We stayed for 3 nights and breakfast was the same thing every single day. I think we just would have liked a little variety. Maybe french toast instead of pancakes, bacon instead of sausage, hashbrowns instead of potatoes just for example. I do not recall ever staying at a hotel that offers breakfast serving the same exact thing every single day.
Overall, we had a great time and would still definately recommend Drury Hotels to...
