Ordered my pizza at 9:50. Pizza arrived at 10:40. They gave me the wrong pizza. Called back to have them resend my correct pizza and the manager had the interpersonal skills of a mentally challenged child. She told me it would take another 50 minutes to get me my correct pizza which would have been super late so I asked them to refund my credit card. She said she WOULD not do that but I could come back up there to get my money back. I told her that it was late at night and I was not driving up there to fix their error and that she will refund me for food. She said absolutely not. She offered me a credit for my next order and I explained to her I wasn't from the area and they had delivered to my hotel. I asked to speak with her manager and she said she was the manager but I could call back tomorrow and MAYBE speak with the store manager. I said "maybe!?" I'm sorry are you giving me permission to speak with the manager about a customer service issue? She then told me that she wasn't required to deal with angry customers and she could hang up on me. I told her she would deal with me until they resolved their mistake and I wanted my refund immediately. She screams "IM HANGING UP ON YOU!!!!!" And then she did. Read moreI'm a big Pizza Hut fan and have been ordering here for 2 years and don't ask me why. The pizza sauce often times tastes like it's been sitting on a burner for 4 days and they never put that much cheese or any other ingredients on the pizza. I usually have to pay for extra cheese and tell them verbally to make sure they put extra cheese on it. If you don't tell them verbally there will hardly be any cheese on it even if you pay for it. The staff was always at least very nice and the delivery times were always consistent which is why I kept trying to give them a chance. I ordered again yesterday and went through my same routine by calling in the order because I can't order online because they won't put extra cheese on the pizza if you don't tell the verbally. When I did so the female that answered the phone was rude from the beginning and hung up on me after I asked her if she could make sure they put extra cheese on the pizza. I had already given her my credit card info so I had to assume the order was still coming, wanted to call back to cancel the order but didn't feel like dealing with the awkwardness. However, what followed was even more aggravating. Instead of offering a refund for the missing item, I was repeatedly offered substitutes that I did not want. I made it clear multiple times that I simply wanted a refund, but my request was ignored.
After several attempts to resolve the issue, I was eventually offered a $20 credit to the store. While this might seem like a reasonable solution to some, I had no intention of returning to that specific location due to the poor service. To make matters worse, the Area Director, Josh A, promised to send me a gift card in the mail as an alternative. Unfortunately, weeks have passed, and the gift card never arrived.
Overall, this experience has left me extremely dissatisfied. The lack of accountability, the refusal to provide a refund, and the failure to follow through on promises have completely eroded my trust in this Pizza Hut location. I hope this review serves as feedback for the company to improve their customer service and ensure that issues like this are handled more effectively in the future.
