My Seoul Taco Food Review 🌯✨

Seoul Taco was the best. This was my first time eating at this place and I have no complaints. My partner and I went last weekend to have dinner. He'd been here before and knew what he wanted. I looked at the menu and wanted to try so many things even though I hadn't heard of some of the ingredients before. I choose a dish and of course I have pics below of our meals. I tried one of my partners pork tacos and it was very good, but spicy. I saw that on the menu how some of their food had a spiciness to it. It was fine I had water and it wasn't so spicy where I couldn't eat it. Honey I tore that taco up. I couldn't eat all of my food cause I was full. Therefore, I had leftovers for the next day. Actually I ate it for breakfast 🤫 This establishment was amazing and located in the Grove neighborhood in south city. Upon walking in I was blown away by the decor. I snapped pictures as well. One thing I couldn't get pictures of was this monument of old school boom boxes. It was very nostalgic. I loved it, but it was too many people sitting in front of it for me to get a pic. Next time I go I'll get me in that photo too. Then the music took me back to the 80's and 90's y'all I was eating and dancing in my chair. This was an amazing experience that I will have again. This establishment is wheelchair accessible. Parking is on the street and metered unless you can find a space on one of the surrounding residential streets. You do need to wear a mask until your seated and eating. This is a place you gotta experience. #Tonetta #couplewithsoul

Seoul Tacos is one of the few lunch spots open on Mondays, and it’s a pretty quick way to get a lot of tasty food quickly if you’re limited on time. Parking is a challenge, but if you live or work around the grove then it’s an easy option. I tried the spicy pork burrito and my wife got the Gogi bowl with steak. The spicy pork burrito was packed with flavor, and everything was fairly balanced in a way that each bite tasted the same, unlike other burrito places that seem to find a way to give you pockets of differing flavors. The Gogi bowls are pretty big, and the meat portion is generous. The egg was unforgivably fully cooked, so there was no mixing the yolk into the rice, but other then that it was pretty delicious. The waffle fries are some of the best sweet potato fries I’ve had in the city, and while I initially balked at the price, I was happy with the investment in the end. Pro tip: get some gochujang on the side for the fries, and thank me later.

Good food that is completely undercut by horrible customer service. Don't order from a doordash or a any other delivery service. They will screw the order up and try to blame the third party delivery service, every time. First time they gave the delivery guy the wrong order because they misheard the name asked for, but tried to blame it on the delivery service. And rudely replied to us, "you can come down here and pick up the right order". But I really like their food, so I gave it another try. Second time, there was no way to order extra sauce, so we asked in the comments on the doordash app. Instead of placing an extra half ounce package of sauce in the bag, on the receipt they wrote next to the special request, "Yes! if you paid for it." Which if it were an option, I would have gladly selected that on the app, and gladly paid for it. So, I called to say how this note can be read by someone ordering food from them. After talking to someone who said they were a manager, I was met with a "I dont care" attitude and the tone of voice to match. So, I asked to talk to the Actual manager, when I was connected to a GM. The GM that thought there was nothing wrong with the note that HE wrote. He said, "Do you know how many of those requests we get a day," and I said, "why not make it an option on the app to order it?" Because that would be more logical than to keep writing passive aggressive notes that alienate customers each time. Like I said, I love the food, but after two very bad experiences dealing with the horrible customer service, they have lost a long time loyal customer that has recommended them for years, telling people that it is one of his favorite restaurants. Now, I will forever warn all to never patronize this establishment, because customer service is still...

We have eaten at this restaurant many times for lunch, a couple of times for dinner, and patronized the food truck. Last Sunday we went in for carry out around 6:00. We ordered at the kiosk inside the restaurant. There was one couple who ordered at the register. So there were only 4 total people in line. After about 10 minutes the place began to flood with people picking up door dash orders. The "manager" had zero clue what was going on...looked both confused and irritated. The person working the front register had things under control but the manager kept coming up and asking questions, unpacking anf opening completed orders and getting in the way. At one point the person working the front mentioned that she appreciated everyone being patient and that's not normally the way things go, eluding to this being a consistent problem. After waiting a half hour for our food we asked how much longer and was told there were at leat 5 more orders ahead of us....at the rate they were packing that was at least 15 more minutes. I calmly explained to the cashier that if a wait was going to be that long a note should be placed at the kiosk or we should have been told by her. She apologized and asked if i wanted to speak to a manager. I said I'd just like a refund. The rude manager took forever to figure out how to refund my money and never apologized or addressed that they are working on what is clearly an ongoing problem. I took the receipt and went to leave only to have the manager tell me I didn't have to snatch the receipt from her. I was shocked that she can't even apologize but is mad at me for being frustrated with the poor level of service. The only reason this is not a 1 star review is because their food has always...
