We unexpectedly visited St Louis and found it hard to choose between several places to eat in soulard. We chose Social because I saw that it was newly remodeled. WHEW where do I start? The hostess with the mostess 1/20/22 night was so sweet and it felt as if we met before. Beautiful soul and her smile was honest...The 1st person we met laid the blue print for the rest of out time Maddie was nothing short of phenomenal. She was funny and knowledgeable about the menu. She was attentive and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. The drinks we PERFECT long Island and Rum punch... let's just say we felt like we had zero cares in the world. The food: HOT...FRESHLY MADE...PRESENTATION WAS ON POINT...AND DELICOUS. SOUTHWESTERN EGGROLLS: Delicious Social Potato skins you've never tasted any like this.. we're from new orleans. . ..we know food.. these were potato skins filled hot melty cheese, chicken with a drizzle of sauce. Delicious Shrimp poboy: typical looking poboy but their special sauce makes this poboy stand out. AWESOMENESS Smash burger: I couldn't put my finger on it but this burger got my attention as soon as I bit into it. The actual burger patty is seasoned ...My mouth is watering thinking about it now. The brioche bun was greatness. Buffalo chicken tenders were strips. There's a light crisp to them. ... sauce pops nothing special but very satisfying . Buffalo chicken wrap this was the only item on didn't taste. My sister said it was very delicious. And large! We loved this place. After reading reviews of what this place Used to be...I think the face-lift and change of direction is grown and sexy.... its perfect

Was greeted warmly and seated quickly. It was around 8:30 and there was plenty of tables or space at the bars. It is a big change from the old look, although some lighting could be adjusted as most areas are quite brightly lit. My server was there quickly and was quite nice. I ordered a water, a glass of Grand Marnier, and the southwest egg rolls. Water in a tall clean glass, the Grand Marnier...three sides of four of the glass they brought was absolutely sticky and disgusting with lipstick on the rim...I wondered to myself, the bartender picked up the gals and did not notice? The server picked up this glass and did not notice? I kindly pointed it out and received a new glass (clean). The egg rolls were quite good. I then ordered another grand Marnier, and the Shrimp Po boy. The po boy was bland, but still decent. The fries were potato flavored salt licks, soggy, limp, saturated with sodium. I then paid and re-sat at one of the two bars. The lights under the bar top are overly bright. Everywhere you try to look at a tv to see a game(or whatnot) there are pillars, ceiling, the bar itself blocking your view from most areas. The bartender was friendly, and overly sharing about things. I'm not sure if I will be back. Cons -dirty glasses/ inattentive -lighting brighter than needed - food seems hit or miss( no signature dish) Pros - very nice staff - timing of plate arrival -food presentation In the end it's a bit of a posh bar acting as a posh restaurant...it lives up to neither.

Let's say I came here for brunch for my birthday November 2023 during the day crowd on a Sunday and it was great. November 2024 I decided to visit their night life crowd for my birthday. 3 weeks of planning went into this night and I was so disappointed. Upon arrival it was $20 to enter (crazy for a bar, but ok), we were searched by security. I knew we should have turned around when the waitresses were twerking and smoking hookah (unprofessional). We asked the security if we can sit anywhere and he said yes. We sat down and 20 minutes had passed, no waitress have came to us. We decided to order food and drinks at the bar since the waitresses were busy dancing and partying. We got our drinks and food but we had to order hookah with a waitress. The first waitress I waived down literally lifted her hand and waived it no while shaking her head no. I assumed she was moving fast or busy so I waited until she walked past and waved and she looked at me in my eyes before walking off AGAIN. At this point I seen a manager and told him we've been here over 30 minutes with no service, he told me he would send a waitress over. The girl he sent over was more rude than anything. I assume she was upset we stopped her from partying to work. She told us our seat had a 2 hour minimum and we had to move. We told her we've been there only for 30-45 mins and haven't had service. She then took our orders before coming back again asking us to pay because we have to move. (every person in that bar had been there longer than us, we were the freshest face and it was plenty of empty seating). At this time we felt picked on they didn't want to serve us and now they're putting us out our table. At this point we told her we weren't moving and she went to get security who was also aggressive and rude. We were trying to explain to them what happened but they didn't want to hear it. They continued to be aggressive. Manager would not refund us as well. When the place was a mixed and diverse crowd it was fun with great service. The scenery and crowd has changed 100000% percent. If you want a ghetto night out, this place is for you. You want a fun time with friends? This is not for you. Not 1 person in charge was reasonable and willing to hear us, even after our table was full of drinks and food (from the bar service). It's clear the women are not shabby of over women and they will rather enjoy a party and their employer has no problem with them partying more than...

Went yesterday to brunch got there at 12 didn't end up leaving until 4pm. I had pancakes (2) and breakfast potatoes and water. I got my food the waitress kept forgetting to bring my table silverware, she kept forgetting to bring me water that I had to walk up to the bar area twice and ask for water. She was really unsure if I could get the pancakes which the lady at the bar said it wasn't on the menu but it's $3 for 2 pancakes. When the waitress did bring my silverware my food was then extremely cold and I needed a to go box. We had to ask for jelly, syrup and butter several times. And then when I got my receipt I was charged for a mimosas that I never ordered. Because again I only drunk water. So my price should've only been $9 plus tax and gratuity but came out to $21.07. When I tried to say something to the waitress she kept walking off or avoiding our table that other waitresses had to come over and see what the issue was. My receipt never got resolved and I just ended up paying the bill, leaving and leaving my food there as well. Other than the waitress being poor, the music was good. The DJ was playing all the good songs it was a vibe. I've been here many times and never order their food. It takes extremely too long to get water or food there but they have so many beautiful half naked women walking around doing nothing most of the time. I've seen several people come in wait at their table for over 30 minutes and then they just leave because the waitresses take too long to wait on them. They do have security at the front door that's a plus. Their brunch menu is small and can't substitute anything which is disappointing because they don't have many options. Overall I would only rate this place a 3 out of 10. The music was the only good thing. I would've left a tip if the service was better. But that mimosas that I never order counts...

Today was mine and my wifes 4th time in food was good as always.in the past the waitresses have been nice and always took care of us but today the waitress came to the table a few minutes after we had sat down ask my wife to scoot over so she could sit a minute because she had work the night before and today was her lazy day but said not to worry she would not be lazy with the food and drinks we ordered our drinks the bar tender brought our drinks over a few minutes later after about 5 minutes the waitress came back said she was sorry she put 3 other tables drinks on our bill and needed our drink order again to fix it we also ordered our food a few minutes later she came back and said she forgot what we ordered so we told her again someone else brought our food out i waited 20 more minutes for the waitress to come back so i could order a beer she never came so i had to flag down a guy from the kitchen to get my check from the second time i ordered my food the waitress sat in the game area drinking and hang all over the guys playing golden tee i was offered 20% off because how bad we were treated i still left her a tip but i shouldn't of. My wife will not be back im not sure about myself

Oh i almost forgot i ask for a glass of water with both times i ordered my fist beer and both times i ordered my food only after the guy from the kitchen said something to her was she willing to get it but by that time it had been an hour since i had asked

She said she came from social house 2 and didn't understand the computer at this location thats why it took so long but when the guys playing golden tee were buying her drinks she knew exactly how the computer worked and made sure...
