Pulled up at 8:57pm and an employee was hauling buckets of water to wash his car. Ordered thru the mobile app at 9:02pm and paid with my credit card. At 9:05pm a female employee comes outside with my receipt and says that due to an emergency they were closing at 9pm instead of 10pm and if I called the number that she wrote on my receipt that I could get my money refunded. So I called immediately before we left the parking lot. The woman who answered was nice enough and was fairly patient while I attempted to find my email with a reference number. When she finally found my order after about 5 minutes of back and forth having to repeat myself several times per question she finally tells me that it would be about 7-10 business days before the money would be back on my card. That is unacceptable. Anywhere I've ever worked or gotten a refund from takes less than 3-5 business days to put the money back on a credit card. Most times it happens the same day or perhaps the day after. Why should I be punished for attempting to order from a restaurant an hour before they close that was obviously so busy that an employee was able to wash his car using buckets of water that he was hauling from the building at the time we arrived and finished just before we left but no one could make 1 last mobile order because they had to close early for an "emergency"?? Why didn't he say anything when we pulled up and parked 2 spots away from him? I don't care that they closed early although it was very inconvenient and I really do not believe that there was any emergency I think that they just didn't want to do anymore work. I have had bad service at this location numerous times...like waiting to place an order for 10 minutes in one stall and then 5 minutes in another one before I gave up or being told to hang on for a minute then watch someone else pull up after me and have their order taken before me...but this visit really took the cake. If I could rate this location with a negative amount of stars believe me, I would. I do not think that I will be going back to this...
Read moreWaited 48 minutes in the drive through due to being blocked in by cars and a curb. There was maybe 3 other cars there and no one was answering the order boxes. This was at 1:15 pm. The owner needs to clean house and fire everyone here because they clearly don’t want to work, they would rather walk around outside and play on their phone or flirt with the female employees. This is honestly the worst service I’ve seen in the city hands down. 75% of the stalls don’t even work(or that’s what they tell you when they don’t answer them. Owner needs to get rid of everyone and start fresh otherwise he won’t be in business for much longer.
Edit: Finally got my food an hour an additional 26 minutes later. A BLT, a route 44 Coke and a medium tater tot. Why this order took so long is beyond my understanding. It was ice cold so I’m guessing it it was sitting on a shelf somewhere for a while before somebody decided to walk it out. Also for some reason they put a slice of cheese on the BLT, who does that? They have broken menu order boards just sitting on piles of crates, and the dude that works there with the Chucky doll on the roof of his car parks sideways every single day so that nobody can get into those parking spaces to order, and I think those are the only ones that actually...
Read moreThis is by far one of the worst Sonics I’ve been to. So disappointed. The first time I came here there was such slow service (it took almost 3 minutes for them to answer the red button, I had to press it twice), sloppily put together food, my burger was cold, the list goes on. I am a big believer in giving restaurants second chances especially because the first time I went it was during the lunch rush and I thought maybe they were understaffed. So I went back a second time and ordered some thing simple, mozzarella sticks and a grape slushy. The slushy was 90% slush and barely any grape flavor. The mozzarella sticks were cold and they forgot the marinara sauce. Sonic is one of my go-to favorites but this location needs a lot of work. 👎🏼
Update: Came back on 5/14 to see if anything had changed. Nope, everyone here needs to be FIRED. I waited in the drive through for 45 minutes, finally got fed up and said “Hello??” and the woman answered “ONE MOMENT” I responded by saying “I’ve been waiting forever” to which this horrendous worker yelled back and said “You can wait some more or you can leave”.
