Hi-Hat is one of those unassuming neighborhood spots that totally over-delivers.

We stopped in for cocktails and pizza, and it was the perfect combo of cozy vibes, great drinks, and seriously solid food. The espresso martinis were smooth, well-balanced, and strong—just how I like them. Definitely one of the better ones I’ve had in STL.

And the pizza? So good! The crust had a perfect crisp, the cheese pull was chef’s kiss, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. We got a sausage and pepperoni pie and demolished it in record time.

Hi-Hat strikes that rare balance of being chill and unfussy, while still delivering on quality and taste. Great for groups, casual nights out, or anytime you’re craving comfort food and cocktails done right.

We stopped in at ā€œThe Hi-Hatā€ today. We loved this gem….the space, cocktails, and food checked the boxes! Facts below šŸ‘‡

The bar on the 2nd floor was originally from downtown Union Station (they rent for weddings, birthdays, corporate events šŸ˜‰) they offer Tito’s on draft mixed with fruit purĆ©e, lavender and ginger (highly recommend!) the food menu is top-notch! (Taste their made from scratch jalepeno bacon Mac n’Cheese and fries with homemade aioli dip) the building was from the late 1800’s …so much architecture to appreciate (ask Patrick the owner and bartender a STL native who moved here from New York two years ago for a tour!) the 500 lb. chandelier was hand assembled...

Really wonderful neighborhood bar that’s opened up recently. Started with the espresso martini as my beverage choice. They make fresh espresso for each cocktail, and the bartender said it was their top selling drink. I can see why; it was delicious. We then split the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese and the pizza. The Mac was top notch; they use a homemade Buffalo sauce that takes it to the next level. The pizza is extremely similar in texture and taste to Mellow Muhsroom, with buttery, fluffy crust that still retains a crisp undercarriage. It isn’t my personal favorite style, but my girlfriend really enjoyed it, and it was definitely fresh. Great place...
