Worst experience at a goodwill. The cashier/ supposed manager of this establishment checked me out. She was huffing and puffing and throwing things around as she was rudely checking people out. I purchased a small childrenās backpack and a little toy truck for my son. It was $15, which I knew was not the right price but in the hustle and bustle of her rushing through customers I didnāt even second guess it. I paid and went to my car and reviewed my receipt. I noticed that she had charged my for one of my items 3xās. I immediately went back in to get my money back. She refused to refund me and said that there was nothing she could do because the refund would be under $10. It had to be over $10 to get refunded. That didnāt sit right with me. She told me I could go and find something in the store that was $10 or less and take it for free. Which made no sense to me at all. How can you over charge for an item and not be willing to give the customer the money back that was the error of the cashier? I know it wasnāt a lot of money, but itās the concept of it. I would advise all customers to check their receipts at this location. They could be overcharging people and getting away with it which is stealing. I probably wouldnāt have caught it had my sister who was shopping with me not pointed out that $15 was double what I actually bought.
I believe they could be stealing money this way and using this wrong policy to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSelection was not the best but the prices are absurd. For a non profit that get their clothes, their everything for free, you think they would offer the nice people that donate to them a chance to buy something from them at a reasonable price. But Goodwill's CEO salary is 336,915 a year or $162 per hour. Now remember Goodwill is a non profit that helps people get jobs, etc. Whose main supply of money comes from us, our donations. Now your pricing is starting to make sense. Goodwill you have priced me away from you. I can no longer afford to shop here. Dpt. Stores are cheaper. 4.99 for a used donated shirt with a stain? And you want me to give you free money when I pay (round up) That's like trying to bum some change from me after you just got done robbing me Give me a break. I'm done giving you handouts and getting nothing in return. I'm not helping keep a stores shelves stocked that I cannot afford to shop at while your CEO is making 162 dollars an hour while heading up this non profit. Somebody's...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStore is odd, and it used to be quite dirty (seems someone has been cleaning it more recently). Parking lot is strange; you have to drive behind Walgreens to get out of it. However, some of the things there are very good. Got some sturdy dining room chairs there for $5.11 each (although the wobbly ones were priced about the same) and a pair of high heels that looked brand new for only $3.00. Also found a king-size quilt for $5.00 and a nice throw pillow for a buck. I'd say this Goodwill has the most reasonable prices on clothing compared to others in the area, and a good rummager can find some steals. However, the person pricing the coats needs to read the tags. Several faux fur coats that clearly said on the tag "acrylic" were priced at $50-$75 as if they were actual fur. They were still nice coats, but in outmoded styles and in the middle of summer too... $20.00 should be the max for faux fur second-handed in such outdated styles. Might get $15.00 for 'em in the summer if...
