Johnny’s Offshore Café — Restaurant in Stafford Township

My wife and I ordered a chicken cordon bleu sandwich to split. When we received it the chicken was like rubber. Of course we both took a bite or two. The waitress came over we told her what happened so instead we ordered a cheeseburger. She came back and we were told that they were going to charge us to the cheeseburger and the rubber chicken. So I went up to the counter to explain what happened and they said we ate half the sandwich so we ate it so they wouldn't remove it from the bill. The young girl behind the counter the preparer I guess. Went in the garbage with a bare hands and pulled out the chicken sandwiches we were eating and the other chicken that was rolled up in a napkins that we spit out. Then she came to the register, ran the register and went back behind the counter to cook and prepare food without even washing their hands. Will never go back there again. We were daily customers...

Not good. Our food was cold. The people next to us sent back their food because it was cold. Our waffles were so cold the whipped butter wouldn’t even melt. My waffle tasted burnt. My egg sandwich was cold and flavorless. The home fries had no flavor, just lukewarm bits of potato that were mushy and not crispy, no seasoning, no onions for flavor. And we waited 20 minutes to be seated. Our waitress was playing on the computer as our food just sat there. The outside tables were full of half eaten plates of food that were still there when we left, nobody even bothered to clear off these tables. I’ve worked in restaurants and I understand being hectic but if they can’t service the few tables they have inside at breakfast time no less then they need to rethink their business plan. Totally lackluster experience.

TL;DR - poor service, cold...

Loved this place, warm and inviting. The service was really great and my omelet was huge and tasty. The coffee was fair, I don't understand why dinners and theses businesses don't take the time to purchase better coffee, to it means a lot to have a cup of Joe with breakfast. The prices were good and they had a huge chalk board on the wall with specials . They make Amazing cupcakes we bought 2 kinds and all I can say is Wow, so good!!!!! The bathroom is very clean also. The waitress was really nice and she was quick to check back with coffee and see how things were. My wife and I are looking forward to having dinner here soon .so give this place a try, you will be glad you did as we were !!! Thank you. Hope this...
