Manhattan Bagel — Restaurant in Stafford Township

I stopped at Manhattan Bagel in Manahawkin last month and ordered two super cinnamon bagels. I told the lady at the register that I was going to eat one in the car and asked if she could slice it for me, so she had it sliced. It wasn't until I got back in the car and looked at the receipt that I noticed that I was charged ten cents for it to be sliced. I mean, come on!! I realize it's only ten cents, but how ridiculous is that?! And why wasn't I advised that there was a slicing charge? I was also charged an additional ten cents for each bagel with no explanation as to what that was for. I'm so sick of the rising cost of so many things, and I get that costs rise and have to be passed onto the customer. But I absolutely cannot believe that they're now charging to slice the bagels! That is just over the top and to my mind unacceptable. Just on principle I won't be returning to Manhattan Bagel. And a warning: ask for your receipt and check it out while you're in the store. I actually don’t like Manhattan bagel that much but this one is just different

⭐️MENU - somehow this location has significantly more options than every other one. I have never seen the blueberry glaze bagel anywhere else and it is amazing. They have atleast 6 or 7 bagels not offered at others. Oatmeal, Hash browns, GLUTEN FREE bagels, croissants, turnovers,dog treat bagels. Lattes and espresso drinks, and they have oat milk. Also lunch options.

FOOD - not a fan of the bagels usually but this location bagels are definitely better that the others. Blueberry glaze bagel is fantastic. Coffee is DEFINITELY more fresh at this location.

⭐️SERVICE - great service here always polite and accommodating with special requests. Always well staffed so they are very quick even during morning rush.

⭐️LOCATION - this location is excellent because it’s very big compared to other M.B.s there is plenty of seating I side and outdoor seating....

👉👉BE ADVISED Prices have changed drastically on the Door Dash app. $5 dollar differce on some items from a month ago. All I know is there better be more meat and cream cheese on these items for the price thats being asked now. I won't be ordering from here anymore to expensive

👉👉Response to the establishments Response 👇👇 As you can see in the pictures posted now. The french toast country style was $7.49 not even a month ago when I ordered, and NOW it is $12. How much is that of an increase in $$, do the math. The nova and lox also went UP in price also i paid $10.99 few weeks ago and it's NOW $13.20. Your regular cream cheese bagels also went UP in price. Are you telling me that's not true???
