Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Stafford Township

We ordered 12 piece classic chicken tenders, a lemonade, and ketchup from here around 7:00pm last night. I got my lemonade right away (with gross, sticky stuff on the lid) and then waited for the chicken. 15 minutes in to waiting, the guy at the front assured us it would be only 4 or 5 minutes and we continued waiting. A big rush of people came in around minute 30 and all got their food and left while we continued waiting. We talked to another lady who ordered online 30 minutes before we did and was also waiting around for her food. After about 45 minutes and half my lemonade, the guy finally brought out a bag for us. Got it back to the car and looked in to find only the box of 12 pieces of chicken. No ketchup like I asked for, no napkins. Because we waited for 45 minutes for food from a "fast food" place, we thought they might have given us something extra as an apology but we did not even get everything we asked for. Let's start with ordering. I ordered a hot chicken sandwich with BBQ, bacon and cheese. They tell me they don't have them today, because there's no BBQ sauce, and they won't substitute another kind. So I ordered the three sandwiches with no BBQ sauce. I ordered three sides honey BBQ. They charged me 2.25. Instead of substituting it. And quite rudely with an argument I may say. I get the sandwiches and there ice cold. He tells me that's how there made. Really!! The guy behind the counter is a real treasure. We waited about 15 minutes, and 26 dollars later with no receipt and cold sandwiches. I will never go back there again, and I love Popeyes, but not the one in Manahawkin It makes me sad to even write this review. The general manager had airpods in… Ordered a family meal for family of 6. Why sell family meals if you don’t have a single table that fits more than 4 people? Food was good and came out quickly. But it came in a to-go back with no napkins, utensils, sauce. Had to go back up to the counter multiple times to get needed supplies. Each time having to wait a few minutes while all the workers behind the counter pretend your not there. The general manager was taking orders while on phone calls with airpods in. It was like when you get gas at the no-name places. The workers never said a word to each other or customers, except to bark out order numbers. A world of difference from the chicken place across the street. Also, for being brand new the place is filthy. The bathrooms were disgusting.
