Pietro's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Stafford Township

A first time customer...and last time! Service and attitude leaves a lot to be desired. Placed an on-line order for a ham and cheese calzone around 4-ish to be picked up at 4:45. Got this confirming email response: "Just to let you know — we've received your order #8708, and it is now being processed". Arrived a little early and told an unsmiling surly woman at the register my name and what I was picking up. She looked on her computer and told me to wait, my order would be ready in a few minutes. I thought that it was because I was early. So I stood and waited without anyone even acknowledging me again about any kind of delay. She never even looked my way. I was going to sit on the bench in front of the counter but there were pizza boxes stacked on more than half of it and some macaroni laying on the empty side. After about 10 minutes, one of the workers came out to get pizza boxes but never said "excuse me" as he reached around and through the twp or three customers waiting for orders. The calzone finally came out of the oven at 5:00pm. An older guy who was making pizzas put it in a box and handed it to me with a quiet "Sorry". The surly woman never said another word, not even a "Thank You". I guess once they had my money they felt they didn't have to fill that order as promised. If you can't fill on-line orders in a timely manner, don't offer to take them. And if you can't treat all of your customers as if they are important, maybe you're in the...

Good service, even tho the hostess warned us the waitress was new.. and they accommodated us with a table along one wall after a short wait... 2 in our party ordered the ravioli which were huge and well sauced.. several went home for lunch.. I had my heart set on a grandma pie.. I had it there about a month ago.. and it was delish..... HUMM.. what I got bore no resemblance to what I had a month ago.. a month ago it was a prebaked square pie, crispy from the olive oil on the bottom, and covered completely with delish finely chopped tomato .. and just a dusting of cheese... What i got last nite was not prebaked.. not covered with chopped tomato, but a sauce...and slices of mozzarella ....not being prebaked gave the top a bit of a soggy finish.. and the dough was "fluffy" like it wanted to be a sicilian dough.. disappointed... 2022 Fast foreward.. well not too fast.. tried it several times since..and it was great.. the real deal done right.. I don't like leaving bad reviews but this was a terrible experience. Ordered on the phone, person who took the call was rude and nasty just because they had a hard time hearing us. Our order was never read back to us. When we arrived to pick up, we had to explain everything we had because the name we gave them was not enough information. Service was awful. Attitude from the workers was just unpleasant. Food we ordered was wrong, but we waited an hour to pick up just 2 pies and a sandwich so there was no point in going back to fix it. I hate to write this but I was really taken back by this experience. Expensive, food was bad and not even what we ordered, poor service, would not recommend. It's just a pizza place it's not that hard to give customers a good experience. Would eat...
