I had ordered through the app zesty nachos and a shake for togo in the early morning and I took a cab to Denny’s to pick up my food which costs money for me taking a cab.
When I got into the Denny’s it did not look so busy and a young boy was working alone.
So I assumed that my togo order was ready without a doubt and it should have been ready, however, the server told me they did not have ingredients to make Zesty Nachos and a Horchata Shake so that they couldn’t make my order!!
Not even that, they server told me that they tried to call me several times but I did not pick up!! Which is a total BS!! I did not get any missed calls from Denny’s!
And obviously, if they have really called, don’t they have to leave a voicemail????
Not even a single voicemail left by Denny’s which makes everything what server had told me is all BS!!
Worse to come to worst, Don't they have to refund me right away?? Since they have charged my card in advance?
The server told me to leave my name and phone number so that manager can call me when he comes later!!
What the hell?? Anyway I left my name phone number as what the server told me to do (in order for manager to come and check so that I can get the refund back to my card).
And guess what...until up to this point which almost 1 day had passed technically..12:10am present time in pacific coast,
NOBODY ever called me about anything from Denny's and my money is still charged, no refund, or any pending refund. What a freakin reliable America’s Restaurant Denny’s.... Know that this is CRITICAL!!!!
Ohh not all the Denny’s but this one is located on •••12924 Beach Blvd, Stanton, CA 90680•••City of Stanton in CA location.
And all this happened on July 26th 2018 little after 6:15am my card was still charged in full. Lost money on calling cab approximately $15 because I had to go to fast-food restaurant to order togo ended up spending more money. Denny’s had ruined my whole fxxkin day!!!
With current rating 3.7 star in google map. And the very first review I see is 1 star, big complaint about management of this location. If this one location, or the manager cannot even handle this issue and make it to become worse and worst! Why do we call it a restaurant?
Why do they have to be part of Denny’s if they are so careless in handling critical problem that they should have resolved right away.
GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!
Denny’s have to take it more seriously when it comes to money. When Charging and Taking people’s money! If you guys charge for something from a customer who never received anything, that is a thief stealing money and same as scamming on people!
Because of the poor management and unprofessional service, it had gotten me a huge stress and waste my on writing this complaint feedback, still have not received the money that you guys shouldnt even take from the first spot!
And its UNBELIEVABLE that you guys DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH INGREDIENTS TO MAKE ZESTY NACHOS!!! What a shame! Are you guys closing down soon or what???? Read moreI ate here late Saturday night (technically, early this morning, as it was after midnight). I arrived at 1:20AM. I was forced to wait about 8 minutes at the front desk (which had no host on duty) before someone deigned to notice me.
When an employee finally came to the front, at 1:28AM, he said "we can only take to-go orders, because it's after 1:30."
I replied "No, it's only 1:28AM.", and I showed him the clock display on my phone.
He replied, "it doesn't matter; we can't serve you."
I insisted. He consulted his manager. He returned and stated that his manager had ordered him to seat me. He obviously did not like that fact. When I attempted to speak to him, he yelled "BE QUIET!!!". He then refused to seat me. So I had to grab a menu and take a seat. He came over and said "We won't serve you. Leave now or I'll call the police."
So I had to go see the manager. The manager forced me to wait another 15 minutes before he would deign to speak to me. And then he kept getting confused and I had to repeat all questions and answers 5 times.
He finally asked, "What is it that you want?"
I calmly replied "I would like your waiting staff to serve me in a professional manner at my table, like your other clientele. Why are you so prejudiced against me?"
He stared at me silently for 15 seconds, said "Jesus Christ.", turned his back, and walked away.
I waited.
2 more minutes later, he came back and said "You again?? What do you want?"
I calmly replied "I would like your waiting staff to serve me in a professional manner at my table, like your other clientele. Why are you so prejudiced against me?"
He FINALLY got the message, and ordered one of his serving staff (a different one) to serve me.
The FOOD (double cheeseburger and fries) was good.
The SERVICE, on the other hand, was the worst I've had in 31 years. I left a tip of 2¢.
(The only worse incident was at Reno's Restaurant in Tustin, which only existed for 1 month then promptly went bankrupt, and for very good reason: the food and service both sucked. But I digress.)
Bottom line: The food at this restaurant is good, but DON'T eat here if you want good service. The service at this restaurant is perhaps the worst on planet Earth. And no, this is NOT the first, last, or only time I've been here; I've been here before, and the service was abysmal on those...

I went in to this Denny's because I received a free dinner for 2 discount due to a mix up that had happened with my food when I had made a phone in order. Once my waitress was notified of this her entire attitude towards me and my+1 went from a semi smile to a complete frown! When ordering my meal my server was giving me attitude the entire time and treated me as if I was speaking an entirely different language! After waiting about 30 minutes for my food which is an entirely long time for Denny's breakfast, my food arrived cold and yet again the wrong order. I had ordered a supreme styled omelette which is an omelette with everything on it. What was placed before me was a slab of eggs and very few pieces of mushrooms and bell peppers and a leaf or two of spinach. I explained to my waitress what I wanted then after a long pause she looked at me and said, "so what is it that you want me to do?!". After a long debate over my expectations of an omelette.... She just brings me a plate of linked sausages that had been cut up into tiny pieces and told me to put it in my omelette. I was furious of course! So I remembered that from the last encounter at this very Denny's that on my receipt there was a survey that you can take on your experience at Denny's. well after I asked my waitress for my receipt she brings me back a copy of my receipt and not the actual receipt because the copy does not have nothing but the order on it no survey no have a great day thank you for choosing Denny's.
