La Real Michoacana — Restaurant in Stanton

This was my favorite place to get treats. Would go all the time. This is my first time going since the new management and let me tell you, I was DISAPPOINTED. I was excited to see they had new options, but was looking forward to our favorites that I’ve been craving. First of all I got an esquite that was mostly water and cheese. Couldn’t find much Mayo at all so it was bland and just gross. The tostilocos was dry looking until I realized there was a pool of red at the bottom so I shook it up. One bite and I realized there was no chamoy. It was just a pool of hot sauce. No lime, no tajin, nothing. It just was hot with no other flavors. Didn’t even eat the rest. Our milkshake wasn’t as thick as it usually is. It was super watery. Honestly I’ve never had so many things go wrong. The girls I used to see there were always so nice and the treats were top notch. We always took friends an family over to try it. Will have to see if a second trip...

The service could be better. There were two ladies upon entering. They both were helping other customers while maintaining a nice and friendly demeanor. One of ladies finished, she took a look at us and walked to the back. The other lady helped us with an unfriendly attitude. One of the previous customers returned to say he dropped his soda he bought. He was not wearing a mask while the sign outside requires customers to wear a mask. She proceeded to be super friendly with him, then continued helping the gentleman even though she was helping us. The lady even gave him a replacement soda for free. Not returning to a...

I been here couple of times but the last two occasions weren’t good. I got a raspado de coco to bring back home to my mom and when I got home my mom told me it taste weird and we realized that the shredded coco they put was green already it was already bad, also I just went today again after a couple of weeks and got fresas con crema and the cream was already expired it tasted sour. I don’t really think they keep up with there inventory and use ingredients that already bad....
