Pho Lam Son — Restaurant in Stanton

If I could give this place a negative review, I would. But people need to know that this place is not sanitary. I received a steak dice dish that didn't taste too bad (though overpriced), but I found two pieces of short, straight black hair in it. I decided that I would just eat around it instead of asking them to make more, but when I told them at the cash register and showed them the hairs, the two ladies working there said their hair was too long for it to be theirs, when it actually did fit the description, and they didn't offer a discount. Meanwhile my hair is long and very curly, and the people I was with had had short pink hair and short light brown hair. Clearly it was not ours. They said they had cameras to prove that it wasn't theirs, but there were no cameras in the dining area that I could find, let alone in the area where we'd eaten. They completely denied being careless. So I'm writing this review to warn everyone to not eat here unless they're okay with unsanitary practices. I only paid because they clearly...

Absolute perfection.

First visit, I willed through a disc hernia to eat here. I ordered the Combo Pho and some egg rolls and I swear it healed me. The large was only a few dollars more and was a challenge to finish all the meat. It actually was so good, I had left without my wallet but the waitress ran to catch me. It was much appreciated as her service during the meal was just as full of effort.

Second visit, today is what made me write this review. I have been trying this combo (bun nuong cha gio?) All over OC and this was one of the most fresh and flavorful ones I had. I will most certainly come back as others cannot provide the flavor and quantity Pho Lam Son provides at...

This place is the best place by far that I have ever been to. I drive all the way from Laguna Beach to come here for their amazing food. Their prices are excellent and I enjoy the way I am treated and served. They treat you like family here and are so nice in person and over the phone. The place is clean and again the food is by far the best pho I have ever had and their spring rolls are great too. They don't come apart like other places and they accommodate vegetarians with substitute items available. I wouldn't drive this far if I didn't think the prices were worth it or the quality of food.
