Helina Marie's — Restaurant in Star

A charming and eclectic little wine and cocktail bar located in an old house in Star. Perry let me know it was happy hour and provided exceptional service. I had a Paloma along with a small charcuterie plate. I enjoyed the drink and the charcuterie plate offered a nice variety of items. Perry told me about the various weekly events like line dancing, karaoke and blingo!! I’m so glad I stopped by this delightful and welcoming establishment!

I sang a metal song at their OPEN MIC KARAOKE, and when my girlfriend queued up her song, The KJ said to her "is it anything like what she sang? because this isn't the crowd for that." The song I sang got more applause than anything sang before or since I sang it, so it's safe to assume the "crowd" clearly liked it, but the KJ didn't. I was there for a business meeting yesterday. It was my first time visiting this establishment. The owner and staff were really nice and helpful! The selection looked great(.
