Churn and Spoon — Restaurant in Starkville

Do you like rich and creamy ice cream with lush mix-ins and all with great flavor? Buy Ben and Jerry's or go to Bop's. Churn and Spoon does not have good ice cream. It has a weak flavor and low cream content, so it's not rich and silky. It's more appropriately frozen iced milk. I tried three types, the matcha mint, the chocolate is life, and the batch 4. They all had a slightly watery taste. The mint was very mild, like old spearmint gum. The chocolate was like homemade vanilla that had a squirt of Hershey's chocolate stirred in. The batch 4 was simply forgettable. All the stuff mixed in to the ice cream had little flavor. The chocolate chips in the chocolate is life had almost no chocolate flavor. The added brownie that comes with it was brown, but not chocolatey. Honestly, I should have gone to McDonald's. At least the sad cup of ice cream I would have gotten would have...

Awful customer service.

My boyfriend and I went in. The lady was working on a cake or something. We stood there 2 minutes and she finally said I’ll be with y’all. We looked around made our selections in our head and stood there another 4 minutes. She never said another word. It really felt discriminatory. We went and patronized another ice cream shop and was help expeditiously. Never again and never had I experienced such poor care or service in...

Small parking lot. Some people walk here from the mall or chickfile's. There's a drive thru, probably the most used way of visiting. The inside looks hospitable but is only for 8 or 10 people at a time. There's cake pops, cakes, & ice cream & coffee. I got a two scoop cup of pumpkin spice & frozen hot chocolate with chocolate chips. Food is very good! Staff is friendly. Hope they get a bigger place...
