I was craving McDonald's so I ordered on the app for my wife to pick up on her way home. She gets there they have to manually search for the order using a code in the app I luckily was able to find, the employee though there was two different codes for some reason, there's the first 4 characters and the full thing not two different codes. Anyway they finally pulled it up and informed my wife the ice cream machine was down. It was 1130 on a Saturday. If the ice cream machine was down its because the one who was supposed to put it together at 1030 when they started lunch still hadn't done it for over an hour, I worked at a McDonald's, there's no excuse. I was craving a spicy McChicken, a mcdouble, a mcflurry, a milkshake, and fries. All the girl said was the machines down I'll take the stuff we don't have off the order. She gave my wife a mcdouble, a small fry even though I ordered a medium, and 4 nuggets... unfortunately my wife didn't look in the bag. They didn't ask what I wanted to replace the milkshake with so no drink, didn't bother asking if I wanted to replace the McChicken, apparently took it upon themselves to give me they're nasty nuggets. Even my 2 year old won't eat their nuggets, he gave them to the dog. If they don't have something they need to have their manager turn it off in the app so it can't be ordered. You also can't just give customer whatever food you feel like. Absolutely the most unprofessional ridiculous experience ever. There's no training that, those useless...

I placed a mobile order at home and arrived at the Starkville location at 4:55am since I had a test I needed to go to school and study for. When I arrived in my parking space, all employees were in the dining area "cutting up". Once they noticed me, they slowly made their way to the kitchen. I sat for 12 minutes awaiting my food. Another car came and went through the drive thru and received their food. After another 5 minutes, I went to the drive thru for faster service. NO ONE took my order and after switching drive thru lanes, finally a man responded. He was very, very rude and would not give me a chance to speak. I ended up pulling up to the first window where he angrily struck his touchscreen while blatantly shaking his head at me. All I said was "Good morning, I had the mobile order." He just told me to pull up. Then, at the second window, three employees had my things telling me a variety of excuses about why it had taken so long. It's funny how every employee was just hanging out when I arrived, yet everyone had to "switch out this" or "remake this" 20 minutes later.. This was by far the most unprofessional experience I have had since I moved to Starkville. No student or business professional who orders a drink and a sandwich should have to wait 20 minutes as the only customer because the employees couldn't...
Read moreI was there today after 5pm. at the intercom, someone told me they are only accepting mobile app orders and that I can order though the app and then come through the drivethru. So I did that. Once I got to the window, a woman opened the window and gave me a crazy look for about 5-7 seconds. I said "hi," she still didnt say anything and was looking at me like I did something to her. I asked her what's going on, she said something like "You need to speak to someone over the intercom." I told her i already spoke to someone and they told me to order online and come through the drivethru. she then put her head down in her hand said something like "ohh, i got confused, we're short staffed, and im not trying to make things harder on myself." she went and got my food and gave it to me, no "sorry about that," no "thank you, have a good night," no nothing.
Her reaction was weird and unprofessional. Definitely the most uncomfortable experience i've had at a fast-food place. I wont be coming back to this location, because i dont want to run into this woman again. Plus, last time I came here, there was a lobby full of people waiting for food. I do believe they are short-staffed. There is a really nice lady that works there during the early morning shift though, wish all the employees...
