Beijing Restaurant — Restaurant in State College

Yet another example of sub-par Asian food in State College. They have no idea how to make Singapore Mei Fun and their "BBQ Steak" is terrible, such that I wonder whether it's even beef. I've ordered delivery from Hunan Wok twice (I've tried so many different Chinese places here I lose track of which is the least bad sometimes), and both times the driver was talking to someone on the phone as I opened my door, and continued to do so throughout conducting business. This past time, I had to throw most of the food away because it was just awful: the spring roll was acceptable and the steamed dumplings were alright, but the Mei Fun was caked in curry powder (inedible) and the "BBQ Steak" (i.e. Steak on a Stick) was dry, tough, and slightly gamy in taste. The best thing I can possibly say about the food I ordered from Hunan Wok is that it got to my door - and perhaps I'd be better off...

The guy who delivered my ordered asked me 3 times to tip him cash and I didn't bc I don't ever carry cash and I usually tip on the delivery app. He literally told me next time he wouldn't bring it up and literally insulted me and was very aggressive and used profanity bc I didn't give him cash. Then I told him I will report him and he didn't care and said he doesn't work for door dash so good luck with that. This is a good American Chinese restaurant. The establishment is run by Chinese employees so there is a bit of a language barrier but don't fear it doesn't cause a big problem. I have done pickup but never delivery and it has worked well, no major issues. The only caution I give is that the food is INCREDIBLY HOT. I repeat, the food is very very hot. I personally bring my food home and put it in the freezer for 15 minutes before I venture to try and not burn my tongue. All in all this is a fine place to eat and is actually very cheap unlike the $$...
