The chargha is bland, as were the chicken rolls—perhaps why they took them off the menu). What IS consistent, however, are the exceedingly high prices they charge. There is no reason that one small container of biryani should cost $14, same for their karahi. Two (2) kabobs for $7, are you serious? I was excited for the opening of a Pakistani restaurant, but disappointed to find that they took advantage of their customer base. Just because there aren’t many other Pakistani restaurants around, or you believe that people will buy your food anyway, does not mean you should trade away the integrity of your business for more money. I’ve never seen such high prices in an average desi restaurant—it would make sense if it costed more if there were combo meals, or more quantity of whatever was being sold. As of now, though, the food is certainly not worth the cost. I’ve spoken to several other families about it and they agree that if prices were more reasonable, they would frequent the store more often, if at all.
