I recently experienced some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in 44 years. My mother and law and I went through the drive-thru on 12/5/23 and she was charged multiple times after using her debit card at the window.
Today, 12/7/23, on my day off, I went along with her on her lunch break, again, two days after the incident, after calling in an attempt to understand what happened, how this happened, and if she should we expect further charges to appear on her card? The attempt by phone was a joke, I seriously had to ask myself if the individual I was speaking with had been trained to treat customers in such a rude manner or if they Bojangles owners just don’t care. Obviously not, because after receiving some of the worst Customer Service I have ever received over the phone, my next move was to speak with management in person, a gentlemen simply called “Z”. I couldn’t make this up if I wanted too. Being college educated and running a businesses of my own, I just stood back and observed as my mother in law was treated as if she was a nuisance, and had done something wrong, because she wanted her money back for fraudulent charges. “Z”, manager on duty, which is a stretch to call someone a manager because they have keys to the office or have a pin with their name on it, had absolutely zero customer service skills, treated her in a rude manner, made no apologies for the inconvenience and offered no explanation. The misappropriated funds were returned, but be forewarned, while customer service at this location is virtually non existent, there’s absolutely no telling how many customers they are doing this too, and if this goes any further, only time will tell.

This time, I decided to try something different and ordered the Bo Rounds, macaroni and cheese, and hot wings. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to my expectations.
When I arrived, the restaurant was empty, yet it still took about 20 to 25 minutes to receive my order. While I appreciated that they made the chicken wings fresh, they turned out to be disappointingly slimy and lacked any crispiness—surprising for something just cooked.
The macaroni and cheese was also underwhelming compared to what I've had here before. It seemed to lack flavor, and perhaps a touch of seasoning or a cheesy topping could elevate it, as it currently feels a bit bland. On a brighter note, the Bo Rounds were perfectly cooked as usual.
The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was reasonably clean, but the long wait time and disappointing food quality would make me hesitate to return. If I had stuck with their traditional fried chicken, I probably would have been happier, but with this experience, I’m not sure I’ll be back...

Today is the second time in the last month or so that we’ve ordered family dinner from this particular establishment & have waited over an hour to receive our food each time. We order on the app to “save time”, but when we arrive to the store & park in the designated parking as the app instructs you to do nobody ever comes out. We’ve gone inside to make them aware & they still do not get in a hurry to fix our food. Our order was placed at 6:09pm & my husband did not receive it until 7:26pm. That is absolutely unacceptable. When you pay close to $50 for dinner you expect way better time management & care than that. My husband said the manager didn’t even appear from the back room for at least 30 minutes after he had gone inside to inquiry about the food.
