My wife and I have been ordering from subway on cinema dr for years. But as usual, there's always that one time that you place your order expecting to receive what was rightfully bought and paid for that things go south. Ours was last evening 5/2/25 @ around 7:15 pm. I'd placed our order thru the app as usual. And since my wife was already out close to this particular location I asked her to pick it up. As she did. Now I didn't bother to mention that our order would be consisting of 2 different items as I'd never had the need to before. But as said, there's always that one time that things turn. After arriving home I noticed that one of our items was missing. So I returned to subway. Upon arrival I explained to one of the team members that an item was missing. She then took the bag looked inside then at me as to suggest where is it. And I was like, what you looking at me for. You didn't prepare the 2nd item. She then goes in the back to discuss the situation with the 2nd member. He then comes forward with same attitude as hers, but giving the impression we'd already eaten it and was just looking for a free replacement. Though he prepared the item I asked could we receive at least 2 cookies for my time and gas to return to the location because of their oversight. In which his reply was, I'm making you the item so there's nothing else I can do for you. The attitude that was behind that response was obvious. And my response back was, We never would have been in this position if you people would have taken the time to read the order correctly. If you even know how to read. Now I realize mistakes can and do happen. But, at least have the courtesy if you value the customer to offer a respectful apology and possibly incentive on top of the correction. Not attitude as I received from these 2 clowns. I know to some this matter wouldn't make a hell of a lot of difference. But to me it's the principal of the thing. Read moreI came into town because of a funeral and was taking the family subs (something different because most people buy chicken or bbq.). I had went to the one on Broad st and got refused service because I had a very tall order. Yes it was at lunchtime because I just arrived in town but they were not busy. Only 2 people that I let in front of me. I left that store actually looking for Firehouse Subs. Unfortunately there was not one close. So I went to the Subway in Cinema drive. They were busy, it was still lunch time. I explained to the ladies that were working what I was doing and had a tall order. I wanted the veggies in the side so the sandwiches would not get soggy. They explained they didn’t do that anymore but suggested I get a vegetable tray (which the ladies in Briad st did not suggest) These ladies took my order and worked on it between the customers. They were much nicer and made my order without any complaints. Kudos to these two employees. I spent almost $100 and tipped these ladies for their excellent service. Gave me faith back into Subway. Read moreAs a service provider of 12 years who works late, I stopped into this subway after a long day( 2 week work stretch) craving a subway sub. I don’t get a complicated sub or even a toasted sub I get a simple turkey prov lettuce not toasted . The workers acted like I interrupted their Saturday night rolling eyes scoffing etc. another man walked in after me and he simply asked if they will still serving and the lady making my sub just ignored him until another girl showed up. I’ve waited tables working until 3am so the level of not only pettiness but just being rude for no reason is what made me write this post. Both subs were made in under 5 minutes and before closing hours. I understand working in the public isn’t always so fun but just the rudeness expressed here. ( if you live In statesville the other location is 5 mins way, and they have always been much nicer, willing to make your subs) & not make you feel like you’re interrupting their Saturday night.
