Don't come here if in a hurry! Arrived at 1120am so had been open there was already people sitting down they had 2 pizzas out that were like sausage and supreme. Upon checking out she asked whay pizza I prefer which I thought was nice as they usually don't do that. I said Pepperoni or cheese which is the most common pizzas! So ate salad and waited and waited finally at 1140 I ask a different woman if they were going to have a Pepperoni or cheese soon that I had to get back to work at this point they hadn't put any new pizzas out since I'd been there. She looks at me like I'm crazy and said there's one in the oven. Finally at 1150 as I'm getting ready to leave they put one peppprono pizza out. Food was good and minus that girl everyone was nice but should never take 30 min of waiting to eat at a buffet! I could have went to a restaurant and had a quicker meal. And it wasn't like I asked for a special pizza or was being picky just wanted a plain or Pepperoni which you would think would always be out but it takes 10 min to bake a pizza regardless. Disappointed this will no longer be my go to lunch place. If you do decide to come here on lunch probably wait till after 12 as they are always slow and very few pizzas out the first hour they open just never to...
Read moreUpdate: Went back there and once again... My only issue is the salad bar. The staff still do not stock the containers correctly. They just keep piling food on top of what was already sitting in the containers. There is no proper food rotation when it comes to the salad bar. It's hard to tell how old the containers of food actually are because they don't want to have to wash the dishes by actually pulling them to put a clean and stocked one in its place. I mean, be real here, the food at the bottom of the containers could be days or even weeks old. That is then sitting in the same place and touching the fresh food, thus contaminating it. Until I see proper FIFO ratation the salad bar off limits.
Three stars because the pizza is good and the salad bar is a large variety of choices. My only problem with this place is that the staff who keep the salad bar stocked do not rotate the items with clean and stocked containers of fresh food choices. Instead they just keep piling the fresh food on top of the food already there and that results in contaminated containers and bad food. Also soured dressings. The onions on the bar were rotten because of this matter that nobody seems to address. Fix this problem and the salad bar will be much better...
Read moreI like village but they do have some faults. They make a pretty good pizza, but they put the same 5 pizzas on the buffet everyday, all day. Anytime someone request something, or they put something different in the bar, it gets gobbled up fast and they still haven't noticed that they keep throwing away the same old pizzas. Their dessert pizzas are the best. The salad bar is average but tends to be a mess from kids and older people with shaky hands. The buffet line collided with the ordering line and causes a headache for hungry customers. They opened the place and started with a small, I mean small, craft beer selection. They weren't committed to it and have dropped all craft beer except for 1 or 2 mainstream "craft" beers. Occasionally they have 'hot wings'on the buffet. Don't water your time. Not once have they been good or hot. I real most likely return every now and then add they have good deals for kids, but going solo or with a group of adults, it's too expensive for what you get. Especially with CiCi's about to open up for...
