Enoki Sushi — Restaurant in Stephenville

Sitting here after enjoying my Philadelphia roll at Enoki sushi in Stephenville. I was surprised to find such a delicious sushi restaurant in all places! This is such a gem in a sea of chain restaurants! My friends and I took a chance coming here and we would definitely take that change again and again. The people were super welcoming and friendly and we felt right at home. I also decided to get a glass of their Fuji apple sake which was so refreshing and delicious!

My friends got a couple of rolls and some fried rice and it was amazing! Everything was super fresh and just delightful. Our waitress was so nice and took the time to break everything down for us and make it easy! We all appreciated it. Our food came out pretty quickly and we were able to sit and chit chat afterwards. Went in to eat got sushi roll and the meat in the sushi was raw and taste horrible ate two pieces of it. Told the wait staff about the issue and the owner said just give 10% off. So I paid 40 dollars for food I did not let let alone take home. The moment we walked out the door and made to our truck I was throwing up. There was nothing right to have a customer pay for bad sushi with bad meat that made me sick. Will never go back there and dinning room smelled like a nail salon. Made it down the road and threw up many times. If wanna pay to get sick or end up in Er for food poisoning this be the horrible place to go. The owner is not a real business owner. Their food has always been good to my tastebuds and in the end I'm almost always stuffed. The reason I'm not giving then 5 stars is because of the wait time. Granted, it was dinner rush time so the time it took to be seated was reasonable-ish. It took about an hour to be seated. Then another 20 minutes to get our order taken and finally about an hour and a half to get our food. (from the looks of the restaurant everyone else already had their food and was just taking their time to eat so the last two waits seem pretty rediculious to me). I would advise against coming here during any rush hours and instead choosing to go an hour earlier or so to avoid a 3 hour wait. (Also their bathrooms have neat pictures on the doors.
