Burger King — Restaurant in Sterling Heights

I've been going to this specific burger king since 2024 and this will be my 2th year of eating here! First, let's talk about the staff.Thankfully, I've never had a problem with any of the employees here All were friendly and were very welcoming to me since the day I first came here and because I am a regular here i kinda developed a bit of a friendship here with everyone and I don't think it's possible to do that with people that are not very friendly so the staff is great! Now in terms of the food obviously you are coming here for burgers! And for the most part the burgers are good! There's not a whole lot of variety of the type of burgers that they have but that doesn't mean that what they are offering isn't good enough to satisfy your burger cravings! The bacon king and the classic whopper are a favorite of mine" they also have different types of whoppers to choose from as well like the BBQ brisket whopper! I can also appreciate the fact that they can give you different sizes for their burgers both big and small Just in case you don't wanna eat something too big! And of course. Besides burgers they also have chicken sandwiches as well as chicken wraps also with one fish sandwich in case you want something different and besides french fries as a side , they also offer onion rings and chicken nuggets as as well as mozzarella sticks and my personal favorite the chicken fries! The drinks here are good too. Plenty of sodas lemonade fanta's fruit punch shakes and ice coffee and obviously there's different flavors! The only thing that Burger King lacks on is the desserts.The only thing I really have here that I enjoy is the hershey sunday pie which is obviously good but I wish there was some more variety in the dessert section but besides that one small gripe the flame grilled burgers here are great they taste different from McDonald's and in a good way so if you want a good burger I'd say burger king is still a good option! Now unfortunately the pricing is where I have to stop giving the positives! Eating here is going to cost you more than ten dollars depending on what you order of course but if you want one of the better meal options here at burger king you are going to be paying $15 to $20 dollars possibly if you order dessert or one of the sides! The meal themselves could be cheaper if you get the small or medium size versions.But for the most part it's still going to be a little pricey so if anyone is on a budget and looking to dine out for the evening just be aware, burger.King might cost you a little much depending on your financial situation" now for the last part of the review the cleanliness here is acceptable i never found anything gross in my food nor have.I ever had the displeasure of sitting at a table that was not cleaned by an employee.This place is very clean.No flies or anything roaming around either the inside of the restaurant is also very nice.There are plenty of seats both for a party or smaller group or of course single visitors like i usually am lol the inside of the restaurant is also quite peaceful.There's always music playing and it is always nice and fresh in here.Which is great since it is hot as hell outside! not trying to get personal but since I have been coming here alone for nearly 2 years now Whenever I am in here, it is always usually just me and the employee's since not a lot of people choose to eat in here" so the atmosphere for me gets an A+ especially since I am an introvert who actually enjoys being alone and the inside of this burger king specifically is just perfect for that! And Also unlike the McDonald's, which is literally right next to this burger.King, which feels a bit cramped up inside this burger.King is not too big but not too large.Either the size is just right with plenty of seats and lots of room in the dining area of the restaurant! I cannot believe this place is open with a manager like Denise, I believe that was her name, she was working 1/15/24 night shift and I was there at 11:43pm to get an ice cream cone for my daughter who has a fever and it helps cool her down, so I pull up and ask for a cone, the manager says my computer is down and it’s been out for 10 min and we close in 5 min so I can’t help you, I said that’s odd my time says 11:44 don’t you close at 12 so there 16 more min, she screamed my computers down and I don’t know when it will be back on, so I asked if I can just get the cone for free for the inconvenience and since I’ve been eating BK and worked at the one in Rochester when I was 14, the least she can do is give an ex employee and lifetime customer a measly cone since she wants to lie about the computer being down so she can close up at 11:50 from what it sounded like to me and not give a heck about any customers but only herself and when she leave, news flash Denise or manager or lady who screams when she’s wrong and obv don’t give a flying F, if you don’t like working the night shift and honoring your employer and paycheck at the min, work during the days, look at all these horrible reviews from you, it’s not a coincidence, I don’t wish you any harm or hate but you being a manager is not setting a good example for any employee that works with you, my manager on Avon and Rochester back than would’ve of never closed early and act like the system is down and if they did believe me they’d give the customer the cone for free so they don’t leave a horrible ask review that you asked for with your voice and attitude, whoever her GM is needs to take her in the office and put her out of her misery and maybe the Scrooge Lady will hopefully do something that she’s happy about doing, and if not stay you ask at home, no one wants that negative energy and vibes, be nice to ppl, what is a cone gonna do to BK? Hurt them? Nope, it would make me want to visit there again and spend money bc you were considerate, now what you have is an unhappy customer that won’t return just like all the rest of the other customers that won’t return and the main reason this place will shut down. More than annoyed. I'm an employee and after my shift I ordered my food. She looked annoyed at me (the manager working) as if I'm not starving because I took no breaks. So I paid and waiting patiently because there were like 4 people behind and she was taking their orders too and she was also handing drive r Thru. 20 mins later the 4 people behind me got their food and 3 or 4 cars got theirs and I still haven't recieved mine. My boyfriend who was with me asked if there was something that was delaying it and the manager literally turned around and started yelling at him that he needs to shut up and wait because it's so busy and it's only her. She said he had no right to say anything to her. He replied with well my gf works here and... And before he could finish she was yelling at him that it was my own fault that she was backed up when that happened AFTER I was off the clock. If it would've happened tonight before i would've stuck to help but I was off. So my boyfriend goes quiet cause he doesnt want to get me in trouble and after another 5 mins she SHOVES food in a bag and nearly throws it at him. We check it and most of my food is correct but she forgot my nuggets. I speak up and she just ignored me! So one of the cooks came out of the kitchen to help her and he gets me my nuggets. Now, I didnt think to check my whopper jr because its special dont and it's hard to mix those up but when I got home I found out that it was just a regular one.
