I have very mixed feelings about this Subway, mostly negative, and I've decided I won't be returning. While it's conveniently close to my house and has a drive-thru, the poor management and repeated issues have ruined the experience.
Drive-Thru Experience One time, I ordered just two subs through the drive-thru. The employee was polite but was the only one working, which I understand can be tough. However, my order took an hour. I couldn’t leave because they’d already charged me, but waiting that long for two sandwiches is unacceptable. I’ve since learned to avoid the drive-thru altogether.
In-Store Service Another visit was equally disappointing. A worker was yelling at customers and acting unprofessional. I had ordered through the app and requested my subs to be cut in half, but they were messily torn instead of properly cut. On yet another visit, my subs felt carelessly assembled—no tape, no labels, and no way to tell which was which. It almost felt like they used random old subs to fulfill my order.
Online Ordering Issues One time, I placed an order through the app, received a confirmation number, but when I arrived, they claimed they hadn’t received it due to a power outage. They couldn’t provide a refund, leaving me frustrated and out of pocket.
Recent Experience My most recent visit was the last straw. I tried using a coupon for three footlong subs, a deal advertised for $18.99 but updated to $19.99. Even so, the code didn’t work at this location, nor did another deal explicitly listed in the app for this Subway. When I called to ask about it, the person on the phone sounded completely unprofessional, possibly under the influence. They couldn’t even confirm their location and eventually hung up after yelling something incomprehensible.
Recommendation After this, I decided to try the Subway on Mound & 19 Mile instead. Not only did their app deals work, but their prices were significantly better—guacamole was $1.99 extra there compared to $4.99 at the problematic location. The service was faster, and the subs were properly prepared.
I highly recommend avoiding this Subway and driving a bit further to the Mound & 19 Mile location. It’s worth it for better service, lower prices, and a much more...
Read moreVery disappointed in the service at this location. Walked in to an empty restaurant with only one visible employee who happened to be sitting at a table having dinner. After a few minutes of no one coming to the counter we asked the dining employee if anyone else was working. He said that there was someone else in the back and should be up there to help us right away. After a couple more minutes he ended up going in the back and had to come take care of us because the other employee was in the back "eating too." I felt bad for him because he had to stop his dinner because the other employee was obviously not going to come up and take care of us. Anyways, as this man was making our subs a younger middle eastern guy came up to ring on the register. He didn't bother to speak to us and had a mask on underneath his chin, not bothering to cover either his mouth or nose. When asked if he was required to wear a mask he said no and that Subway did not care if he wore one or not. He then added very sarcastically "if Biden doesn't care if I wear a mask why should I?" I asked him his name so I could call and verify this with a manager and after a minute of hesitation he said it was Fadi. Being that it's almost the end of the night I will be calling in the morning to speak to a manager regarding this experience. Sadly right on the door it says you are required to wear a mask to enter the restaurant but I guess employees don't have to follow the same rules as customers. You can definitely tell this boy was very arrogant and could careless about his job or his customers. Hopefully management will do something to change his attitude...
Read moreI went in to order a sub on April 16 at about 130 in the afternoon. They were out of cheese bread and when I asked for the cheese bread, the response I got was “I don’t got that”. Then she gave me a bored look like she was irritated that I even asked for it. I should have started by saying that she came out of the back on her phone while another lady was trying to handle all the customers. The older lady was actually very friendly and was working as fast as she could to get everybody’s sandwiches out. The younger girl was moving as slow as she could, and looked annoyed that she had to even make a sandwich. They also said that they couldn’t use any of the Italian bread because it wasn’t cooked long enough and they were out of large sandwich wraps, so they were wrapping everybody’s foot-long‘s as two 6 inches. I understand that sometimes a fast food place can be out of things, but the attitude from the younger worker was not...
