There is nothing authentic about this food. It is an insult to Mexican cuisine. Taco Bell and Del Taco have much higher quality ingredients than this restaurant. You get better flavor from those 89¢ burritos sold in the grocery store's freezer case than you do here. Skimpy portions, tough tortillas, dried out, lackluster chicken, and much better beans are served straight from the can than they are here. The guacamole was oxidizing (starting to brown). And everything was covered with an Alfredo like, not con queso sauce or shreds or cheese... There was no differentiation from one item or dish to the next. Our food came to us way too quickly. Translation: not freshly prepared, thrown together. Temp was warm at best. Flavor: lacking. Salsa: watered down. Chips: thick and hard. Considering portion, did quality, and overall taste, this restaurant is insufferable overpriced. Save your money and time, go elsewhere or make Mexican at home. I'm totally amazed at all of the people who gave this place good reviews, ranting and raving about how wonderful it is... Must be related or paid to tell such lies. Note to self: Don't trust Yelpers. I've been trying to find restaurants in my area. Two out of three (highly rated restaurants based upon online reviews) in under two weeks have been utterly horrible. #BetterFood ServedInNursingHomes...
Read moreWe have been to this place about three times now. The food is mostly good, but our margarita this time, which was a Texas margarita, seemed a little watered down. Also, I know not all restaurants are pet friendly, but I keep my 7 pound dog in a tote bag right next to me and usually don’t have any problems bringing her into establishments. This restaurant, however, seemed to be against me having my dog here, but since we already received our drink, before they saw her, I think they were willing to allow it. Our server said customers complain, but there may have only been 2 other people besides us there at the same time. They made me put her on the floor, although still in her tote bag, But the floor was not very clean. She is a hypoallergenic dog and is always very quiet. More well behaved than some service dogs plus she is kept in her bag the entire time. Our waiter was not very pleasant to us. Even though there were not many people in the restaurant at the time we arrived our service was a bit slow. I included pictures of what our floor under the table looked like… There were only two of us and we sat on the same side of the table. Please pay more attention to your floors being cleaned.
I can’t say we will never come here again, however, it...
Read moreI've been going to Grand azteca since they've opened. I've been to all the locations I think and although a few of them have closed over the years the ones that remain open like this one are just as good as the first time I ever stopped in As with any other Mexican restaurants you do get chips and salsa and a white sauce which mysteriously tastes a little like ranch and something else but is delicious to dip your chips in or to put on your food. The menu has evolved they have some really cool dishes and everything is tasty. You can't go wrong so if you don't know what to order because you're overwhelmed by all of the delicious things you see, I would recommend getting a fajita burrito, a combo that has two different items with rice and beans, or if you want to get a little bit more adventurous if you don't normally get things other than tacos I would recommend the chilaquiles. You can't go wrong with the tacos either, I just recommend you definitely get corn and not flour. I've never had a bad meal here and I don't expect to. My friends and family come here all the time and we will either seek it out or if we can't figure out where else to go we'll just default here because we know that everything is consistent services quick and the...
