Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Sterling Heights

I worked at a different pizza place for three years, so I know things can get messed up and forgotten easily. And I don’t like complaining about them. However, every single time I order delivery I ask multiple times while on the phone that they call me upon arrival rather than knock because we have two small dogs who go crazy at a knock or doorbell and they never call me. Ever. The guy tonight who took my order (reciept says Daniel T.) said he would tell the driver. Driver arrives and the dogs hear the knock and go crazy. It was 10:45 PM and everyone else in the house is asleep. This is definitely not the first time. I don’t blame the driver, it is dark and the note telling him to call is so tiny there is no way he would see it (and i totally understand not looking before leaving because its almost close. Again, I worked in the industry 3 years) but that is why I asked more than once for the man taking my order to please tell the driver personally. He failed because the driver told me he wasnt told. 36 orders later and I finally complain. Also very skimpy on the ranch crust (i forgot to order extra because at this location, extra is normal) but i shouldnt have to order extra to get more than an amount for one big slice. Also, i have ordered online, it is meagan lawson, not walton. I asked them to change it in the store before as well as credit card companies and banks can be weird. I know working at a pizza place/any fast food place isnt a dream job (for most) but put some pride in your work. And maybe sound a little more peppy on the phone, the debbie downer town makes me feel like an annoyance

I feel bad rating a 1 star for food because I usually love their pizza, and I didn’t get food from this order to rate. I tried ordering a pizza from their website and from the app, but they were both down. I called and ordered online, the representative who answered said they could honor the online coupon due to the site being down. Took my name and number for the order. Waited in the parking lot for my order time to be up, walk in and they stated they couldn’t honor the coupon, and when questioned, they stated they didn’t even start cooking the pizza. I was not called, even though I left a number, to be informed they couldn’t honor the coupon (even after being told they could sue to the app and site not working) so even if I wanted to still purchase my pizza, they NEVER started it. The worker apologized but there was no resolution and unfortunately I left...

This is not a good place at all to order food more times than not your orders are incorrect and the service is horrible manager is extremely rude. If you want good pizza and good subs Papa Romano's at 19 and mound. They are very courteous and professional and their food is so much better than this place. This used to be a good place till the owner hired Debbie to manage this restaurant that's when this hungry Howie's went so downhill. And the complaint from this other customer was the exact same thing they've done to my son about a month ago. Appreciate your response another thing that you might want to know the manager Debbie double swipes people's credit cards to double charge. She actuall she actually tried double charging my son because they said it didn't go through...
