Qahwah House- Sterling Heights — Restaurant in Sterling Heights

Qahwah house- please bring your same level of consistency as your Dearborn locations to here. I absolutely love the drinks here and I come here frequently to study and I really just want the experience to be better. The coffee is delicious most times, but the consistency could be better. (For example, my PSL would sometimes have cold foam, sometimes reddi whip.) I will say the adeni is always a solid 10/10, it’s the best adeni you’ll find anywhere.

My main issue is, I come to the coffee shops to study, why is the music so loud and hype. Am I going to the coffee shop or the club? Also the bathroom is poorly maintained, sometimes I go in and there’s no toilet paper. I really didn’t want to have to write this review but I’d like for management to know these things so things can get better and I can continue to come here because the drinks are overall solid. But when I’m trying to study and the music is so hype, and I can hear it through my noise cancelling headphones. That’s just not the vibe. If I’m here to study but I would rather get up and bust a move, I think there’s room for improvement. It’s a great playlist but not when you’re trying to focus. Put the hype and fun music in the evening shifts where people are just there to vibe. But for morning/afternoon, if you have to put something please just put chill coffee shop music so people can focus on their work. Thanks...

I discovered this coffee shop as I was on my way to get desserts from PALM SWEETS Bakery & Café. I go there every year to get dessert for birthdays, and I happened to pass by Quahwa House which looked pretty cozy so I decided to check out the place and I’m glad I did. I’ve only been here about four times (as of today) and each time I was greeted with such warmth and care from the girl who was working in the morning. Now I get my drinks and dessert from here before I go to work so I usually stop by around morning time or early afternoon. Two girls were working there this morning who greeted me with kindness and give me time to figure out what I wanted to order. I wanted to try something different today and both girls were very sweet, patient and polite. They answer any questions I had about the drinks and help me pick out one that I actually really liked. They were helpful just like the last times I’ve been here. They were very fast and efficient. I didn’t have to wait long at all. I got what I wanted and they thanked me for coming as I was on my way out. I ordered the Carmel macchiato today and it tasted good. I would definitely recommend checking this place out. I went to Qahwah House (Sterling Heights) yesterday morning. I heard they open early and I wanted to try their pastries so I decided to check it out. There were two girls working there in the morning and both of them greeted me with a wam smile. I wasn’t sure on what to get so one of the girls (Nusrat) suggested some of her favorites and I ended up getting two pastries (both chocolate) and the girl (Rakella) suggested I try their refresher or tea since I don’t drink coffee. I got their dragon, fruit mango strawberry refresher, and it was pretty good. Despite it being Saturday morning, it was quite busy but they were fast and efficient with my orders and there was no long wait time. Because they were so friendly and welcoming to me, I would definitely go back again next weekend when I get a chance. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something different.
