Chuck E. Cheese” Annoying customer service! Most of the staff that work there are very rude. Management needs to work to train their employees. Or really a new manager! We went to try and have a nice family day out with our 2 little girls. My youngest daughter had a very special blanket that she always carried everywhere. But unfortunately I took it that day and we forgot it at the table where we had dinner. Then I saw how late it was and so I called and told them that I had forgotten the blanket there, I told them what table it was on and they went to look for it and they found it right there, because my daughter and we were very happy. They told me that it was the next day that they would keep it in a place to give it to me because they were going to close and they couldn't wait for me! Well, it's understandable, I thanked them and came back the next day. When I arrived, a very rude lady told me that she didn't know anything and that the young man who had had her was not there and that she had two days off and that she had to come back later. Well, wait and I'll be back on the indicated date. They told me again that they couldn't find her that they didn't know anything about her. They rudely didn't even want to give me any explanation. I told them I wanted to speak directly to the manager about her but he wasn't there. I left them my contact information and they would call me if they found it! They didn't return the call either. Then, after about a week, I called again and finally managed to talk to the young man, who told me that he would keep it. He explained to me that he put it in the lost and found cabinet to turn it in the next day, but the blanket was lost, it just didn't show up, the manager didn't even take the time to investigate which of the employees took it. It is an outrage! I will never confidently visit this...
Read moreMy family and I went there and ordered food with the cashier name Gladys, I guess it's her name, which shows on the receipt (older lady with wavy hair past her shoulders).
After I ordered food, I misheard that she asked me how many plates? I said 4 plates. Then I saw it showed on the screen 4 drinks. Then I said oh sorry I don't want any drink (since we have refillable cups). She said, "You just said 4 drinks!" with an attitude.
I used a coupon that I had on the CeC app, and I said I would pay using a gift card. She then burst out "Omg!" with a chuckle and shook her head. I asked her why? She said I already had a discount and I used another discount from the gift card. That's a double discount. I think that's extremely rude the way she exclaimed omg and shook her head to a customer like she had an attitude! If it isn't allowed to use both discount and giftcard, just let me know nicely, don't act that way! That's so disrespectful and unprofessional!
We always enjoy going there but not this time around. Most of the other staff have always been...
Read moreI came expecting a trip down memory lane, where I could experience the grim ambiance of dirty brown and orange carpet, the Mouse Hole area, skeeball, and the aforementioned animatronic horrors. Well, I was totally off base. It is clean, bright, and buttoned up tight. They have modern games, suited to the 5yr to 9yr set. They include a mix of video and skill games (think skeeball, whack a mile, etc). The pizza was even pretty solid. The staff had their game on lock, and corporate scripts everything so you get a curated experience, rather than some places where you get whatever a 16 year old who got no training comes up with. Kids at birthday parties get endless games which is HUGE! Anyway, I've been to too many of these sorts of places, and Chuck has the game down pat. We're using them for our 8 year old's...
