I visited this location, while in town on business. Typically, I choose to dine at Red Robin for their familiar, easy-going environment. Not usually do I ever have a poor visit. However, I found some notable items worth mentioning.
The Staff: I seemed to beat the dinner rush during this particular visit. However, the staff seemed to be very displeased. It was almost as if no one was interested in being there. When I looked around, it was very hard to distinguish any leadership. Server number one took my order, and also seemed to be filling in as the bar tender. My appetizer was delivered by server number two. And server number four delivered my meal, even though I overheard her mention that she had just clocked-out. Weird.
The Environment: While I waited for the arrival of my appetizer, I took a look around the place. Nothing abnormal, at first. Then I saw a strange glimmer of light. At first, I didn't know what to think of it. Then it happened again. It was a drop of water. Sure enough, the entire HVAC system has began to condensate, and was dripping all over the place. When leaving, the very noticeable puddles of water outlined the HVAC system hovering above. I was at least glad that I did not sit directly under the duct-work.
The Appetizer: My appetizer was not cooked all the way - and when brought to the attention of server number one, I was asked if I wanted the cooks to correct the issue, as if my mentioning of the cold appetizer was a compliment. Enter in server number three, who re-delivered my appetizer.
The Meal: The meal was sub-par. The bread seemed to be stale, as if it sat out for days before becoming the burger that it was. When delivered, server number four provided no follow-up, as in "Can I get you anything else?" or "Would you like a re-fill?" (To which, at this point, I did need one.)
The Check-Out Process: As a previous customer, I knew my way around the table-side self checkout system. It was at this time, that server number one had come by to check if I needed help with the check-out. I politely explained that I felt comfortable with the process. Part way through my response, he was gone again. It took me a few minutes to regain his attention, just so that I may request a copy of my receipt. (The machine seemed to be out of paper.)
I wouldn't say that this experience would prevent me from revisiting this location. Hopefully, things may have changed by the time of...
Read moreOverall, a very lack luster experience. My friends and I came to have a nice sit-down meal later in the afternoon (around 3:45). The place only had a few people inside, and we were told by the host that there was a 10-minute wait time. Not a big deal, we stood around and talked for a bit. Our service experience was very much bare minimum. Our server had no enthusiasm whatsoever and looked as if they wanted to be elsewhere. The place was definitely not busy, and some of us were left with empty drinks for way too long. Our server also accidentally added items on our tab we never even ordered. The food came out very fast, so that's something good, I guess. However, the food was nothing to write home about. I ordered the new lava burger. The queso was only slightly warm and cooled down very fast. I wasn't even into my second bite before it was cold queso on a warm burger. I asked for medium rare, and I was given medium. The queso had good flavor (when it was hot), and the sweet potato fries were thin but not bad. My friend ordered a menu burger and asked for no mayonnaise. There was still a bit of mayonnaise on his bun when he got it. The cups our drinks were served in we absolutely ancient. They looked to be 15 years old. They were cracked and broken on the bottom and were cloudy and foggy. Overall, the experience left a bad taste in our mouth, and we probably won't be returning to Red Robin. Unfortunately this seems to be the new standard for all these chain restaurants. Everything...
Read moreYesterday on 12/29/18 my pregnant self my husband and two of our good friends went to your location expecting a normal dinner. Well as soon as we got our drinks the waiter spilled and entire glass of water on my husbands lap, said sorry and walked away. We cleaned up most of it and never received another drink or anything else. I understand a busy Saturday night takes a little longer but we got our apps that were sitting in the window for 20 minutes because we sat and watched them sit there, to get our food we ordered 2 seconds after. I needed a very well done burger because I am pregnant and did NOT get that. We had to call over another waiter to get us drinks and some ranch that we never received. Than we decided to order desert but was told to order it on the kiosk to than never get our dessert. Maybe 15 minutes later we finally waved someone down and asked where our stuff was and they said oh it doesn't show what you ordered, so we told them and they brought us the wrong dessert 3 times. My friend ordered the dream cake and they servers got so mad that she said over and over again she only wanted caramel but they kept bringing her strawberry that they scrapped of the strawberry sauce and drowned the cake in caramel and put the left over whipped cream on top. I must say we drove over an hour to come there and have a dinner and was so disgusted by the way we were all treated we will...
