I'm not sorry to write a negative review about this place. This is the first time I go out of my way to write a review about a place. We go there often since it is close by. Once we saw a customer complain because she bought corn on a stick, I over heard her conversation because I was waiting to pay. She told the MANAGER that the corn was not fully cooked and she said she would know because she buys from there often. The MANAGER'S response was "I can't do nothing about that unless you buy another one." I was left in shock to hear him day that. She said "you have poor service and we will never be coming again." He just smiled and laughed. I was left speechless. Today we went because I was craving something from there. Me and my boyfriend asked for two corns on a stick. The girl who was attending us was not very pleasant. I felt an attitude vibe and to my but feeling, I was right. My boyfriend proceeded to asking for strawberries with cream because he saw the frozen box of strawberries. Mind you he specifically pointed out he wanted a box. She left and came back with a big cup filled with strawberries and cream. My boyfriend said "this is not what I asked for, I pointed at the box not the cup." Her response was "well I already made it so you have to pay for it, I can make you the way you wanted it but you'll be charged twice for wasting product." I could not believe my ears!! She should have told him for the beginning that she was going to prepare it in a cup! My husband told her "you know what just cancel my strawberries." Her response was "let me get the manager." Once we get to the register and not surprised anymore, the manager wanted to charge us the two corns and cup of strawberries with cream. My boyfriend said "I am not paying for something I did not eat nor was done correctly." The manager laughed and said " you have to pay we used product and that's our policy." My boyfriend stood his ground and said he will not pay it. In the end we only paid our corns but after that it did not end there. The manager said "next time you order something you should ask!" My boyfriend said " calm down dude." One of the employees laughed and mocked us as we leaving saying "have a nice day." The manager is a young guy and has poor customer service skills. I was a loyal customer ever since the beginning ( I believe 2015), I’ve seen them grow and expand like the new place they opened by 81st and Cicero. I knew the two places were related because I saw the same manager (I don’t know his name but he is thin and wears glasses). Well he was always very friendly and nice to my family. Last year this manager that I’m talking about was charging a family that he took care off and I was next to pay, while I was getting my last item from my order I notice that the guy that was serving me got my order wrong and I could tell by the color of it. So I asked him is the flavors he got was “ Ferrero and Chocolate abuelita” and he said “oh no”, he looked confused but also he knew he got them wrong and was gonna do everything he could to switch the flavors. So this manager overheard what was going on and out loud in front of his customers and the guy that was serving me told me “ Señora cuando pida no apunte a las nieves, diga los sabores para que no se lo den mal”. I felt so humiliated and accused for something that I did not do. When he was done with his customers I told him the way I felt and I asked the guy that was serving me in front of him “como te pedí la orden, apuntado o te dije los sabores? A lo que el respondió, “ me dijo los sabores” so I told the manager “ves, tú no estabas ahí cuando yo pedí mi orden y me estas acusando de haber pedido mi orden apuntando la verdad no es lo que me dijiste si no el tono y momento que me lo dijiste. Asumiste que yo pedí mi orden de esa forma pero no es así, solo te pido que no le hagas esto a otro cliente”, He apologized but also told me that it wasn’t a big deal ( lo siento señora pero no es para tanto) and I was like yeah just don’t do it again because I’ve a being a loyal customer to you and this makes not want to return again and he said to me “oh really! Then he removed his mask for no reason and also said “ oh si, pues yo nunca la he visto a usted” a lo que yo le respondí “ pues yo si te he visto todos estos años y en la otra tienda también” he just kept going on very rudely and unsympathetic to me. He also kept apologizing with attitude. The whole thing was just very unpleasant and that was my last time at this place. I will never return...
Read moreI finally found the right one. Family oriented one I should say. NO ghetto low, demeaning music and atmosphere to be honest. Prices are again high no doubt about it. They all taste the same none new but if you looking for a family place and willing to spend $50 to say the least yet where you can bring your child, this is the place. So 5 stars just for that. Prices are exaggerated at this franchises though, to me thats sad because it comes with their attitude. I seen and tasted the tortas nothing out of this world. Elotes, well if they ALL stores would keep them at a bit higher temp perhaps would taste better yet they should listen to the customer and NOT use too much butter though they should use more higher quality mayo...ughhh tastes solo cheap that it sticks to the roof of your mouth. Yup thats in EVERY MICHOACANA without EXCEPTION. Oh the flavor water, not really all fresh fruits..be careful on that. If I could give NO stars it is for prices, attitude, portions and products themselves. 5 STARS for...
