The only place I buy milk! I've bought it here for years. The food is good too and we eat here from time to time. Its a really good place to pick up a few quick groceries if you want to avoid a large store for just a few things. Nice little selection of gluten free frozen goods and weekly specials on groceries. My kids prefer the dried pasta and marinara sauce they sell that I've not seen that particular brand in any other grocery store in town. We also prefer their steaks over other grocery stores in town. The cuts always have better flaver and just seem to be a better quality beef. The milk is the best I've ever had store bought, especially for those of us that only drink skim milk. Its also sealed in a way that it stays good longer than other brands of milk and it has always been hormone free even before that was a thing. Below is info from their website....
"Braum’s milk comes from our private dairy herd we know what goes into it and what doesn’t. We don’t use any growth hormones to stimulate milk production and we never add antibiotics to their feed. Braum’s dairy herd enjoys a 100% vegetarian diet including alfalfa hay, cottonseed and corn, with the majority of the feed grown right on our farm"... "And, thanks to the unique way we process our Fat Free and Low Fat Milks, it’s better for you than grocery store brands with up to 50 percent more calcium, protein, and other essential vitamins...
Read moreI had ordered a Large Diet Cherry Limeade with extra lime (of which I had paid and extra 35 cents for another half of a lime) from the drive-thru at the Braum's on 6th street. They screwed it up and gave me a Regular Cherry Limeade with ZERO lime. I was already back on Perkins Road when I discovered this, so I just tried calling the 6th street location. I tried 3 times and it just rang, and rang, and rang until I got a fax line sound each time. At this point I'm frustrated that I can't even make simple contact with the 6th street location. So I stop at this Braum's on Perkins Road and explain my situation to the manager Christin (who is an absolute sweetheart by the way!). She tried calling the 6th street location and all she got was a busy signal. She went ahead and made me a new Diet Cherry Limeade and refunded me the cost of the first "Cherryade" that the 6th street location had sold me. She was amazing and so kind to do that for me. It's just a shame that the Perkins Road location is having to fix errors that the 6th street location is making. I will forever go to this location every time now because they have never messed up a single order in the 10 years that I have lived...
Read moreI was shocked that I was able to find Fugu at a restaurant in the United States but also landlocked oklahoma. I assume the culinary expert that prepared it had the proper training because I'm Not Dead yet. Afterwards I decided to indulge myself with a Braum's Mix with vanilla ice cream and Reese's pieces. The Matrix recommended that I pair that with a bottle of Moet & Chand on Nectar Imperial. The mix of the Reese's Pieces and the sweetness of the nectar Imperial was a delightful Little Rock across my taste buds. To cleanse my palate I decided on the cherry limeade which was nothing short of life-changing. The maitre d working at the cash register and all of the other employees were nothing short of marvelous. I can honestly say that my dining experience at proms was nothing short of a Transcendent culinary experience. What Oklahoma lacks in museums, art exhibits, or even a state superintendent who isn't a braying jackass. We make up for with truly Exquisite dining...
