My mother-in-law came in with me to get me some food after work, get ice cream for my kids, and a Sonic blast for my husband. When I ordered, I really don't know why, but the lady (Madison) just wasn't hearing though I was shouting into the speaker. I thought she really needed to pay attention a lot better. I had to repeat nearly everything I said. When we got our order 10 minutes later, the three ice cream cones had partially melted on my bag of food that had popcorn chicken in it. It had also gotten onto the popcorn chicken itself. The bag fell and dropped my popcorn chicken everywhere. I asked for it to be replaced and tried to hand the lady my spilled popcorn chicken after picking them up. She hurriedly walked away before I could give it to her. My mother-in-law was holding my kids' ice cream cones, and I had the Sonic blast and the food in the back with me because there wasn't room upfront. We had waited and waited and waited. My husband kept pressing the button to get someone out to help us because the ice cream was melting all over my mother-in-law. My husband tried to flag down a lady that just pretended that she didn't see us, and she darted inside the building. The ice cream had literally melted on my mother-in-law, all over the dress she was wearing as well as the seat belt, her arms, hands, and the floor board a little bit. She had to shower when she got home - it was that bad. (My mother-in-law didn't just throw away the ice cream cones because she knew that they wouldn't replace them. She was right.) Finally, after pushing the button 4-5 times and 20 minutes later, they finally answered. We asked them to bring us napkins and cups for ice cream that halfway melted on my mother-in-law and also the popcorn chicken that was probably forgotten. For some reason, the lady only heard the napkins, and my mother-in-law had to scream into the speaker that we need cups for the half melted ice cream as well as the popcorn chicken. A lady came out and threw the napkins at us. She didn't even offer to remake the ice cream that melted all over my mother-in-law. We told her that we still needed cups to put the melted ice cream cones in as well as we still needed the popcorn chicken so she brought those things too us. By the time we got home, all the food was cold, and the ice cream was like soup. My kids had to eat their ice cream with a spoon rather than on a cone. Keep in mind, we live about 5 minutes away from the Sonic we went to. Also, when I got home, I realized that they had given me the wrong size popcorn chicken. I paid for a large, and they gave me a medium. When I ate my chili cheese fries, the fries were WAY too salty and my Philly cheese steak coney was super cold. The Sonic blast was melted like a shake so my husband had to put it in the freezer. This Sonic isn't a place I would recommend to anyone. This was just an awful experience. I would give this place 0 stars but it's required that I must give them at least one to post...
Read moreI was just at this sonic, which I frequently have quality, and service issues with already. Usually my issues are handled through customer service and they handle it accordingly. Today I mobile ordered two small ice creams, I arrived within 14 minutes of me ordering it. I checked in and someone brought out my two ice creams. One was still perfectly frozen and edible. One was sweating and completely melted to liquid. I know for a fact it had been sitting out longer, the m&ms had bled off all their color…. That doesn’t happen in under 14 minutes. Especially since the other one was completely fine and frozen still. I asked for it to be remade, no big fuss. The person on the headset responded as if they were inconvenienced, he came out and grabbed it from me. I showed him the difference politely and stated that it seemed like the one had been left out longer. He just looked at me like I was dumb grabbed the ice cream and said “can I have your receipt?!” And I gave it to him, again with a smile because I felt bad and I was grateful to have it remade. He brought it back out and shoved the receipt in my face and said “I see you ordered it at 2:30, if you don’t want your ice cream melted then maybe you need to order it when your already on your way, we start it as soon as it comes in” the issue is not mine.. one ice cream was clearly new and one was clearly old. That is not my fault. I did not ask for your opinion sir I asked for you to make it right. I’m not paying $5 for melted ice cream. By the way, I order here a lot and everytime I order ahead, I’m still waiting at least 10-15 minutes for the order to get out (yes even drinks).. so I know you do not start the orders “as soon as they come in”. I don’t appreciate the rude clap back attitude. Customer service is unheard of these days really, I work in customer service I would never handle that situation that way. So thank you, to the probably 20 something young male part time manager at sonic, you really mansplained it to me. I will be asking for my refund.
Btw, I still smiled and told him thank you because that’s how you...
Read moreStarted going here a few weeks ago. Carhops are on point. However, last week I came at night and was ignored for almost 10 minutes--After the redbutton had been deactivated twice already. Maybe they're a bit off bc Rona. I left for the other Sonic, with the craving for the newly advertised lemonberry float. (Good advertising) Now at the other Sonic They had no idea what I was talking about, spoke to me like I was making sht up, then insisted I was talking about a cherry cream slush. Twice. I even offered every layer of the float in order for it to be made. Today I come back to the first Sonic, main street. After ordering two drinks through the app, I immediately checked in (as it asks), saw my photo and name on the board (even thought it was cool and took a pic). Ten minutes go by, then fifteen. "It's okay, maybe they're shorthanded" I tell myself. Then my passenger notices my name and photo are now gone from the stall. Twenty minutes have now passed since I ordered. Wondering if it was the weather, or some kind of error, I go through drive and let the lady know I ordered, have been waiting, but thought I could come through drive since somethin didn't process correctly. (The app was already glitching, only my bank showed my order) Now, idk what hair got up this person's arse, but to sit there and talk to someone in /that/ disgusting tone, only saying I failed to check in, that /y'all/ have been waiting for /me/, etc and not just saying something like "ya, sure, I can give you your order here!" is completely unacceptable. I came through very calm, even remained so as your snotty staff talked like this. I don't care what your personal issues are, clock out of your attitude when you clock in. Two strikes, I'm out. Stillwater seems to have a lot of staff with that same mentality. Repulsive,...
