My first visit,I spent about 6 hours there. Theplace is huge and is set up in no particular order. So I found my self walking back and forth in this enormous store that's the size of about 2 1/2 to 3 football fields. When it was time to close, they turned out the lights! One woman told me that one of the managers told her husband it was "time to close and he needed to make it to the register" THEN she followed him, kind of like a dog hurdles cattle telling him he a two minutes or they WEREN'T GOING TO CHECK HIM OUT!!" Also, there was a sign up all over the place stating 50% off ALL CHRISTMAS CANDY" so I grabbed two pkgs of Godiva milk chocolate peppermint chip candies. I later looked at my bill and saw that they were NOT REDUCED ! I paid $20 a piece for them!! And when I went back a few days later, after I discovered that most of their mdse. was "seconds" or not up to par, I asked about the Godiva, and was told that THEY weren't on sale!!! WHAT!!?? But you had signs saying All Xmas candy was 50% off and she told me , " Not THAT CANDY though!! " Never again!!! Awful place to go,
I am editing this review as of May 2018. While I was at the store I opened an account with them. I maxed out that account out on my first purchase. I started receiving bills for the remainder of what was left on that account after having returned the above mentioned items for Credit, and instead of writing a check and mailing it in they give you an option to call synchrony bank and make a payment over the phone. However you’re giving your information to someone who is obviously in a foreign country and entering your routing number and bank account information into their computer as opposed to having an automated system where you can enter your own information. So, I did this the first month and authorized payment of $50. (Keeping in mind that my balance at this time was only $120) and I received a letter from the company stating that my bank had refused payment or returned payment to them and therefore they were going to add a late fee and a returned payment fee to my balance! (I KNOW that I provided them with the correct account info and I KNOW that there were sufficient funds in my account!!! ) so, they tacked on these fees and promptly lowered my credit limit to what I owed them! I called and complained, but again this was to a foreign country and I got no where. I gave this person my same information and that payment went through. The next month, I called to pay again and the SAME THING happened where they claimed my bank returned payment (I had received NOTHING FROM MY BANK ON EITHER OCCASION) and again they were adding on late and returned payment fees and once again they lowered my credit limit to what I still owed!! I made my payment for April but didn’t receive a bill for May and I know I still owed like $20. So I’m wondering what is going to happen when I do hear from them again. And just FYI this is Synchrony Bank whom I have other accounts with fo other stores. I’ve NEVER had a late payment on any of my bills. But THIS little $300 limit cc has LOWERED my FICO by 30 points on both Transunion and Experian!!! STAY AWAY FROM “At Home “ AND FROM SYNCHRONY BANK!! They’re...
Read moreMy sister and I visited the Stockbridge store after I had given her raving reviews regarding a visit to the Snellville location. Had heard about At Home but never shopped there because it is not close to my home and just happened to be in Snellville at the time and purchased some lovely items. We decided to go to the Stockbridge location being it was the closest to downtown and honestly I was embarrassed at the sight and condition of the store. Absolutely horrid. The parking lot was full of trash (1st red flag) and upon entering the store it looked more of a going out of sale business with few items left and picked over (2nd red flag) than a fully operational business. Even the waste bin at the front of the store by a spray bottle of cleaner and paper towels to disinfect your shopping cart was full and overflowing and employees walking passed it! REALLY!!!
Nevertheless, I sprayed the cart and my hands thoroughly and pressed on. We did come across some nice items, one of which I almost purchased, but again many items were very overpriced compared to what I had seen at other stores throughout Atlanta. For example, I found a glass hummingbird feeder I had just purchased at a home improvement store earlier in the day for $9.89. The At Home listed price was $16.99...the exact feeder (3rd red flag)! The store itself was a complete shambles, very uncomfortable to shop in and extremely disorganized. Management needs to bring in more employees, which were far and few, clean up the store, reorganize and restock the shelves! Given the current state with COVID-19, an employee should be staffed at the door to spray and wipe down shopping carts as customers enter and hand sanitizer provided as so many other businesses in the metro area are doing. This is just another sign that management does not care about the condition of the store or the customer.
Based on this experience I doubt very seriously that I would revisit At Home or at least the Stockbridge location. The entire area looked abandoned but hopefully the area will pick up and the businesses that are there take more care with their...

Went to this location on a Tuesday evening, the week before Christmas. Went to pick out a Christmas tree. They are having a great special on all holiday decor.
Each tree we picked from the floor models were out of stock. We asked if they'd sell a floor model and were happy when they said they do.
The tree we picked had several bulbs out so we requested an additional markdown. Nothing big, maybe a few dollars off because of principle.
I asked the associate who helped me take the tree down if they mark them down because of lights being out and he said they should.
Get to the register and Cynthia, the woman at register, said if she had seen the lights out then maybe. Since she didn't see the lights out while the tree was up she said no markdown because it was already on sale. The store associate who helped me said that he saw so many trees that he didn't remember if the lights were out.
Cynthia called the manager, Greg, who said they wouldn't mark down their broken floor model.
I didn't want to pay the same price for a brand new tree in the box and get a defective floor model. Cynthia wasn't able to tell us if the issue would be covered by manufacturers warranty so ultimately we decided to walk away.
My experience here was long wait time for associates to help on the floor and at the register. Managers (Greg) who don't want to do right by their customers. I left feeling like they were trying to take advantage of me by offering a defective tree to me for the same price they sold new ones.
I've shopped at this location fairly regularly, but won't ever go back. Spend your dollars where your business is wanted.
The customer service here leaves much...
