I've been going to Two Egg in McDonough for a couple years. I was excited that they were opening one closer to me. Recently I visited the Stockbridge location and we were seated at the hightops and the bar tender was less than friendly!! It was a Sunday and the MUSIC WAS SO LOUD! I just inquired about when they started having music. She told me they have always had it. I know that they did in McDonough on the weekends. But I had come to the Stockbridge location a few times on a Saturday and I don't remember music. SHE INSISTED THAT THEY HAVE ALWAYS HAD IT! ITWAS JUST THE ADDITUDE SHE GAVE ME. THEN I ODERED PECAN PANCAKES, I WAS BROUGHT PECAN WAFFLES! NOW MY FRIEND THAT CAME FOR THE FIRST TIME SAID PECAN PANCAKES SOUND GOOD. SO SHE ORDER THEM TOO. AND THATS WHAT SHE RECEIVED .I DIDN'T SEND THE ORDER BACK BECAUSE OF TIME.ONE EMPLOYEE THAT BROUGHT THEM OUT APOLOGIED, AND SAID HE WOULD TAKE CARE OF ME, BUT I WAS NOT ACCOMMODATED IN ANY WAY. I HAD SPOKE WITH THE MANAGER. SHE LISTENED AND APOLOGIZED 🤷🏾 So I return a week and a half later with different friends. Our server was friendly at first, but but soon became less than friendly after chatting perhaps with her coworker who I'm assuming remembered me. No eye contact. Looking out the window and looking around as she is taking our orders. My friend order PANCAKES and Sausage. She was given bacon. She did say anything she just ate it! Maybe if they wrote the order down they could get it right. Both my friends commented that this server was not to friendly! I can't keep bringing people and bragging about this place ,but not getting the exceptional service that they were giving. ONE BAD APPLE CAN SPOIL...

Kaleb the Manager on duty should take a training class on customer service .My order was placed as to my liking of food the first time cook didn’t read and prepared it as they would do normally. I requested all items well . In detail my eggs weren’t fried as requested they were scrambled my sausage was not cooked well at all as requested these are basic request . The waiter her name starts with a S very professional however it was a pretty long name, very sweet young lady and paid attention to detail . after supposedly correcting the order, it was brought back again without request of well done Waitress Stressed She gave instructions for well done, but yet the manager said don’t worry about it I gave the food back because, I personally will not pay for any food that’s not prepared to my liking . Manager never came over to the table AT ALL ‼️‼️To not acknowledge the customer is very unprofessional and ignorant of management. Clearly, he has to be a family member chosen For the role of management luckily Because they couldn’t find anyone else anyone and he knows there are not Consequences behind his actions That’s the only way I see someone not interacting with the customers and trying to fulfill their request or should I say basic request . I know if he did own this establishment he wouldn’t be so wasteful with Food!. If it was my restaurant he would be demoted to...

Service is probably the most important aspect of a restaurant...no matter how good your food is no one is going to care if the overall experience is poor. We are a family of 4 passing through on a Wednesday, the restaurant was average busy and we were made to feel like we were a burden. It started with me asking not to sit in a table in the middle since there was a open booth next to it...I tried to tell the host it was better for our autistic son but they didn't seem to want to be bothered with my explanation...our waitress treated us like she didn't have time for us also...we had to ask for silver ware. I ask if they had flavored creamer for my coffee and she pointed to the small bowl on the table like I was stupid but I really could only see the plain ones since there was 1 French vanilla and 1 hazelnut I tried to make do but when I ask for more I got an eye roll and by the time it came back my coffee was cold and I definitely never got offered a refresh. The food came without toast and still no silverware so by the time we got both the food was cold...I usually don't make a big deal over little things but when start to finish made me and my family feel bad for just expecting minimal service it was a problem. I wish I could remember our waitresses name i think it started with an S, but don't put your hands on your hips when talking to customers it's off...

I've had their food to-go, but never dined in at this location. After eating here, I completely understand why they are busy all the time! The food was amazing! My Caesar salad was perfect; it had the perfect salad to dressing to crouton ratio (10/10)! The shrimp and grits were flavorful, not too salty, and the chicken sausage was a great addition to the dish (8/10). I asked for my pancakes to be extra crispy, and they delivered (10/10)! I was able to get sugar-free syrup as well, which was greatly appreciated! Now, they don't accept reservations. You have to put your name on a waitlist and be patient until you can be seated. We waited about 30 minutes. It's not very big on the inside, but it didn't feel cramped. We were seated right under a vent, so it was cold, but nothing a light jacket couldn't fix. They had good music, cute decor, and a nice vibe. Service wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. Food came out rather quick, but they forgot my salad, and I had to ask for it. Therefore, I wasn't able to eat my salad before the rest of my food came and didn't get to enjoy my entree hot and fresh. It was still warm when I got to it, though. Our glasses weren't refilled, and there was only one follow-up throughout the meal. Overall, it was a good experience, so I'll be back!

We finally got around to trying "Two Eggs" after several months of delay on our part. I pleased to say that the experience was most satisfactory. Right off, we arrived before the late morning crowd, were seated immediately, and allowed plenty of time to review the menu without feeling pressured or rushed. Our server was knowledgeable and efficient, answering our questions, and offering well appreciated guidance on portion sizes and other such matters. We elected to order three breakfast entrees between the two of us, a sampling of the menu if you will. Entree number one was a bowl with grilled chicken, Entree number two was the sausage biscuit plate with eggs and grits, and Entree number three was the fish and grits plate. This entree was exceptional, well seasoned and delicious. With regards to the atmosphere, as noted we arrived before the late morning crowd. The restaurant was energetic, but not chaotic or offensive. We were able to carry on a pleasant conversation without having to shout over the roar, but by time we were leaving, the DJ was getting started and the background noise was increasing. Our timing was perfect for the atmosphere that we enjoy. All told, it was a fabulous meal.

Visited on a Tuesday early afternoon with my husband to grab a bite. Neither of us wanted to cook but wanted breakfast food lol. There was ample parking and the inside was bigger than expected. We spoke to the hostess who went to clean a table for the two of us. We were seated, given menus, and we waited a few minutes for our server. We were pleased with the options on the menu and when the server arrived we were ready to place our order. I ordered the French toast plate with scrambled eggs, and subbed grits for the breakfast meat. My husband ordered the crab cake Benedict with a side of grits. We both ordered waters. They had a nice sized crowd for a Tuesday, in my opinion. While we waited I took the time to admire the decor. There were a few TVs, eye catching wall decor, great music selection, and a full sized bar. Once our food arrived, I couldn't wait to dig in. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed his meal and had no complaints. I thought the grits had a good consistency, but I wasn't sold on the French toast. Now they were good but they didn't knock my socks off. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I wouldn't mind going back to try the pancakes or one of their other tasty looking options.
